Ok so I have been lvling my brigand which is my main (im newer to the game) and absolutely love it.  I dont do so well solo xpin but Im better at PvP than the berserker I had tried before the brig.A few questions regarding AAs and a few just about the game in general I guess.AA question, I mainly like to PvP, but I would like to do some raiding as well.  Is there an AA line that is better for PvP?And if I go for PvP ( Im on nagafen PvP server) will this hurt me alot for raid situations? Also I see that AAs deal alot with certain weapon types, but I would like to stay dual wield.  However I have no problem switching to sword/board or 2h or whatever as long as it does not make me weaker in PvP.I would really appreciate it if someone who plays on a PvP server and also does some raiding for the better gear would be able to give me some insight into the challenges I will face. Thanks alot for any help.<div></div>

<DIV>well for pvp the strength line is sensible without spending 8 points on the final bit, because it is a nice all rounder with +27 defense maxed and 15%+ crit chance (rough), also you get another dmg attack :smileyhappy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>then i went agility for raiding cos i really liked the 16% chance to proc 500-800 dmg (gives you about 50-70 extra dps on a raid)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>im on pvp server and have fiddled with basuically all the lines in pvp but i feel best with str, maxing out the defense and crit chance , hope this helps</DIV>

From what I see...Str/Sta is good for a leveling PVPer..and then you could respec str/wis for raid purposes

I like the idea of the STR/WIS lines.  STR because....well because you guys make it sound good hehe.WIS because I thought for PvP having more WIS would be nice to fight casters.  Do you get a nice boost to resist through wis?  I havent looked at the actual skills much.<div></div>

<P>not from the line besides the first 4 points you put in it....the wis line is for 1hand damage only ..</P> <P>if you want to get spell resists...put wis gear/ jewelery</P>

Breaks down AA combos and give detailed descriptions of each skill. That would be the best place to start I bet.<font color="#ffffff"><a href="message?board.id=34&message.id=12435" target="_blank"></a></font></div>

The best PVP build is probably STA / STR.  With the final STA AA and then STR for defense and crit chance. Something like STA 4 4 4 4 8 and STR 4 4 5 8.  I'm on nagafen pvp server myself, and if i was nothing but a PVPer i would definately go sta/str, however I'm a raider aswell so I went wis/str to maximize my DPS while gaining some nice defense aswell.Sailwind(agi line) can make nice for pvp aswell as you can probably get off an extra CA before they are unstunned. I haven't needed it though, so no reason for me to go agi.<div></div>

wouldn't it be better to go STA 4 4 8 8 and STR 4 4 5 8?

<DIV>The last STA line ability means you take a good 8-9% less damage and have 5% more health, and the taunt proc may save a squishy in your party.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Compared to 4% more health and 28% more DPS (which will cap out pretty easy anyways due to using the DPS% Boosting abilities in PvP fights), the last STA ability is better.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As I wrote in my guide, point for point, the last STA ability is the best defensive boost Rogues can get and is definitely worth getting if you go into the STA line.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Rokjin on <span class=date_text>09-01-2006</span> <span class=time_text>10:54 AM</span>
