<P>Really the racial traits differences are quite slight, especially considering adventuring.  The racial traits may give a slight edge at lower levels, but once you're 20 and up theres really no difference with gear, etc. all figured in.  A barb brigand will fare well, with Str being desirable for the class anyways.</P> <P>If that's what you would enjoy, do it.  If you check eq2census, there are a reasonable amount of barbarian brigs, so its not anything that affected lots of choices, nor too rare either...</P> <P>Play what you like, your friend is a bit misguided. . .</P> <P> </P>

<P>Your source of racials is incorrect.. as the +Tracking racial trait does not exist anymore.</P> <P>Choose your race based on what you like the look of. Racial traits have very little effect on actual gameplay.</P>
