PVP question : Chances of winning if caught un stealthed?

Unless they've recently changed it.

Being stealthed or not has virtually no effect on a brigand's effectiveness. Only one of our attacks requires stealth, and it only does slightly more damage than other attacks.<div></div>

<P>So what your saying is as a brigand if i choose to run around mounted and practically never stealth ( besides maybe trying to suprise a caster or two ) i could still be as effective in pvp with the proper gear?</P> <P> </P>

Yes. In fact most of the time I wind up opening with the ranged attack which breaks stealth anyway.<div></div>

although... our ranged attack can be used from just outside of see-stealth range, so you can still get the jump on unsuspecting qeynosians if you try. they only get to see you for the casting time of the throw attack (which then knocks them down).<span>:smileyvery-happy:</span><div></div>

<P>Do you mean if we got any change when we don't start with stealth OR do you mean if we got any change if we don't have surprise on our side?</P> <P>I have 2 ways of opening a battle:</P> <P>With stealth attack to save my knife throwing attack for when the enemy runs, after stealth attack I burst my damage as fast as possible.</P> <P>With knife throwing to stun and then burst the Q to death <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>If you mean getting attacked so we don;t have surprise on our side:</P> <P>Try to get a stun off as fast as possible to take the inniative back and use as many deagro/agro/invis spells as possible to totaly confuse there targeting so they lose a lot of dps. </P> <P>A brigand needs to have the inniative in battle so if you don't have it use your tools to get it <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>
