<div></div>Was just looking at the test notes for update #21, check out the lovely /sarcasm nerf /sarcasm off, they gave to rangers.<b>Ranger changes:</b>- Leg Shot had its damage increased and no longer has a double chance to dispel when taking damage.- Bleeding Cut's DoT damage has increased.- Steady Aim's reuse timer has been reduced, and it now increases ranged critical hit chances.- Trick Shot had its casting time reduced and damage increased.- Rip had its damage increased.- Miracle Shot had its damage increased.- Lunge was changed from a DoT to a combination melee attack + very short duration root.Reuse timers reduced on most, damage increased on almost all, crit chances increased on some, plus they got a root... I mean come on SoE, nerf the hell out of brigs, but give rangers uber damage.... Thanks again for screwing us over just cause we are only ~1.5% of server populations.Oh almost forgot, we get a longer reuse and less damage on our new level 65 fluff spell band of thugs. Congratulations SoE you are slowing(use the term loosely) ruining Brigs!<div></div><p>Message Edited by ThaLegend on <span class="date_text">03-16-2006</span><span class="time_text">05:58 PM</span></p>

<div></div><p>What rock have you been living under? The changes in #21 are to address the fact that Rangers got the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] kicked out of them in #20. The word "nerf" now has a picture of a Ranger next to it in the dictionary. SOE readjusting Rangers after #20 has <strong>nothing</strong> at all to do with any issues we as Brigands might face and are about putting them in parity with their Assasin counterparts. The two updates are all part of the same adjustment. When the devs adjusted poisons in #20 they new they would have to adjust Rangers in #21 and said as much.</p><p>For any other classes passing through, the OP is not necessarily representative of the Brigand community.</p>

I don't need to look at other classes  to be unhappy about the changes that have been made to brigands.  I still haven't done enough T7 raiding to make up my mind on how bad it all is.  I'm interested in seeing what LU21 brings to us and I'm slightly encouraged that they are still tweaking our class a bit and at least this time it looks like the changes might be more on the positive than the negative side.  Time will tell.<div></div>

I've done quite a bit of raiding in T7 now, and I have to say...We're just fine.I was one of the screamers that said we'd be total junk with the AR changes but....it's really not a problem.  Sorry SOE.  my bad.And yes, rangers needed this.  They went from T1 to T3 with the proc nerf...SariesRobber (robble?)    Rangers NEED these fixes.  At the moment they are the suck...<div></div>

<div>If you want to complain, complain about the Perfectionist AA.  Reduce reuse timers by 50% (apparently only 33%) for skills that take 2 minutes or greater to cast.</div><div> </div><div>I'd give up all 49 pts for a decent reduction on our reuse timers (not a 25% on .5 recovery and casting timers).  Instead I get to settle with getting the Feign Death back that was taken from our sneak.</div><div> </div><div>Grumble, grumble</div>

<div></div><p>Rangers needed a DPS bump, we are getting a little help with AR suspending instead of dropping.  LU#21 will be the little tweaks to rework the radical changes of LU# 20.</p><p>Perfectionist is a bit much, considering it shaves their recast by MINUTES on CA that do thousands. I will complain less if Sailwind goes back to being Recast timers and is boosted to whatever Perfectionist is at.</p>

<div></div>completed Lord Vyemm's Lab, lots of AEs to avoid, AR held the whole time... except 1 named with a damage shield.  However, the damage shield was 1000 or so per melee hit so you do the math AR would not really made a difference in melee because you only get enough hits to lay the major debuffs down and get out.

<div></div>Rangers were definitely nerfed, from parses it seems their DPS was cut to 1/3 of what it was before...  but they never dropped from T1 damage.

The rangers in my guild are routinely being out-DPS'd by us (the brigs), swashies, assassins, wiz/war....monks, bruisers, zerkers...basically they're parsing in the 600's most of the time, spurts in the 700's, trash groups they can still go over 1k.  That's just way way low. And, before it's said, these are not bad Rangers <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />  they're raid-equipped and ruled the parses before the nerf.SariesRobber (robble?)
