For auto-attack damage, yes.  For the combat art, no.<div></div>

<div>I'm guessing that atk rating affect how often you hit with even combat arts though, so tier would matter if you wanna hit more.</div>

Nope. The AMMO type has no bearing whatsoever on chance to hit with CA's. You can use tin throwing hammers from level 10 to level 60 no problem. Now, the WEAPON tier has some impact, but not so much as the tier (Apprentice 1, Adept 1 , Master 1) of the CA does.<p>Message Edited by agra on <span class="date_text">01-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">07:33 AM</span></p>

<div>As the question of throwing ammo and tiers is up.. Has anyone played around with the different qualities to see if anythin above the usual 6c (or 7c, or something) is worth the money? With quality not affecting the CA damage and the huuuge lack of thrown ammo merchants, Ive never got around to even buy other to test with.</div><div> </div><div> </div>

Absolutely, if you want to snare-kite, indium is the way to go. It's extremely expensive, but you're hitting for hundreds of damage per throw, with each ranged auto-attack.
