Swashbucklers have more AE dps and more haste, Brigands have more stuns/stifles, mitigation debuffs, and a larger per-hit damage line. In raids against AE creatures, Brigands can be immune to the AE while Swashbucklers stand back and can use 'Hail of Steel', a throwing weapon stance. Both classes have a very large number of melee attacks that do a lot of damage over many hits. Both are consistantly T2/T1.5 DPS and are very good choices.

Message Edited by Karath Morningstar on 01-21-200610:16 AM

Brigand gets the hamburgler hat.Swashbuckler gets the super-cool ultra-spiffy feather hat.Brigand is dirty and evil.Swashbuckler is shiny and good.ummm hm./ponderSwashbucklers tank more often... and proc more often...Brigands... sit in their empty houses crying themselves to sleep at night.yep, that about sums it up.

i can sum it up pretty simple. if u wanna raid pick a brigand, if u wanna solo pick a brigand, if u wanna group pick a brigand.

we are very similar in play style with postional attacks and such. Only real differance is our self buffs, swashes get a mezwhile a brig gets a feign death, and a brigand gets debuffs that blow swashes outta the water.

hoopdee

well we could feign death about 6 months ago when our self invis broke, but that has disappeared with lu 13 seems some shwash are jealous of a non-exisiting skill though

Swashies would mez the attacker. Both of those side effects are long gone.
