Just hit 40, what armor is best to carry me to 50?

It all depends on $$.  If you have a lot, ebon (crafted) is the best way to go.  Fulginate (crafted) is good for basic stuff.  I used several of the ebon dropped armor and it's pretty good, but has a shorter level range and better stats. <DIV>Really, it's just best to see what's available on the broker for a decent price.  I've had some Augmented (light, rare) armor made since the starts are as good as ebon and the mitigation is slightly higher then fulginate (cost is more too, but not as bad as ebon).</DIV>

Woo.. . Assassin here just browsin' your boards cuz im bored!.  .. anyway glad to see someone who agrees that going light armor isnt a bad choice. . . 1. Price.  .. 2. AC doesnt really matter to me. . . either way im going down with one MAYBE 2 swipes from the big baddie raid mob that i just peeled off the tank =/ (im getting better at my aggro management havent stolen aggro for weeks =D) 3. as an assassin i rely on high damage longer reuse attacks Augmented leather armor STR>Ebon chain STR. . . agi is cool but in a full group i have sufficient power.  . with a chanter i have near unlimited power. I use Augmented for my fury, and my b/f which plays a 50 assassin also uses it, much better strength on it. I def. suggest the augmented....wait i saw you did already...but i'd use that till you can get your hands on some fabled items. I will most likely use it for my brigand when she hits t5 <div></div>
