<DIV>I have recently started a new brigand after i got bored of my old due to choosing the wrong race and being crap, i spent too much money upgrading all my skills and i feel a lot of it was wasted.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please can someone advise me on what to upgrade and what to keep at basic, also if you could tell me what level to upgrade to (eg master 1 adept 3 apprentice 3) then i would be very grateful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance for any help.</DIV>

I'd upgrade every skill you can afford, and choose whatever race you want. I'd be curious to know what Race you picked that didn't make a good Brigand?Personally, I'm a gnome, and while arguably not the best race for Brigand, I'm very effective in combat, and have a great time playing him. Also, I have done my best to obtain every skill from level 20-50 as Adept 1. In some cases, these are only App 4, in some cases, Adept 3. I would say App 4 is reasonable, though. You'll certainly be an effective Brigand with everything at App 4.

You don't usually have to go out of the way for a adept 1, because some of them don't upgrade enough for the price difference. For instance if you have 1 skill at adept for 1gp and 1 for 40sp and the only difference was 20 damage or so. Don't get the adept. Just common sense. Also I find upgrading any tangles or anything to do with "slowing MOVEMENT"  is useless to upgrade. Movement, not agility.</span><div></div>
