Combat stealth

A few other threads seem to imply that only predators can now combat steath.You can stealth before a fight, but not once it's started <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />If so, a bit of a dps nerf to the others, at a time when SoE is promising more scout dps... ho hum.

My Elisi's quick sneak is working fine during combat as of April 8.  Smuggler's Talent, however, was not working in combat at all

<div></div>It's a bug that sometimes strikes. /bug it, and if you are looking for a more immediate remedy try rezoning. Edit: ST was nerfed, somehow people were using it to stay invis during combat I think. So it was changed to be out of combat only. Fix or nerf it's just semantics. I wasn't attempting to imply using this skill to remain stealthed the whole time during combat was ok though, or that I am angry about the change. It was being exploited and hats off to the des for fixing this. <div></div>

Well, I seem to be able to use our 3 second Sneak to stealth in combat at the moment. And yes, I took Evade upgrade at L10....Agree ST was a 'loophole' but would be nice to have DPS upped a shade to compensate.

<DIV>Smugglers Talent still works the same way, however, you cant use it if YOU starting attacking.  Meaning, if somebody else starts the combat, then you use ST, you get the stealth icon and can use your stealth attacks the same way we did before hand.  I like unintended features..</DIV>

<P>smugglers talent greys out for me in combat, no way to activate it</P> <P>the problems with our stealth attacks are at high lvls that the fd attached to them is buggy and can mess up everything, my lurk broke the whole ring of fear event once, just by going off, so I use sneak in combat, or shadow slip, and then the nice master 1 run through <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, which if i was hitting every 10 secs in raid, I am one dead brigand in no time</P>
