Run Through = useless

<DIV>I'm pretty disappointed with a number of our high level spells.  I just upgraded Run Through from  app1 to adept 3.  In total, it gave me 150 extra damage.  Not too bad until I realize that it's a pretty useless spell.  Sure you can use it once while the mob is being pulled to the group or your sneaking behind mob your going to attack.  But besides that, when will you ever use it?  By the time you casted sneak, turned off attack before it finished, and then activated run through, you could have easily done a heck of alot more damage without it.  This spelll needs to be seriously upgraded to an actual high damage ability instead of it's current state.  And where is a higher damage spell for higher level brigands?  We have ruse from the 20's, but nothing after that.  Even assassians get a level 50 spell(assassinate) that can do almost 6000 damage(adept 3).  Sure it's at has a 1 hour reuse time, but it can be very handy in a certain situation.  At this time, I barely outdamage a tank.  And now if they change ruse to activate with aggro, then my dps will fall even further.  I guess coming from eq1, I had my hopes up that brigands(rogues) would be the king of dps again.  I guess I was mistaken.</DIV>

<DIV> <DIV>also set it up on a macro, i got the quick sneak for this particular purpose as well,  set up a macro command to auto attack off, sneak, runthrough, autoattack on  you only lose the casting time of quick sneak which is 1 second  i use the spell all the time  it has a very quick refresh.</DIV></DIV>

If I could only /respec and take that instead of Fiddy's Handy Distraction. What a mistake that was. I can only hope that some day they make changes there and allow another respec. :smileysad:
