Pristine Conditioned Cedar Long Bow When you can afford the cedar and are 40+, have someone make it. The last bow you'll ever need. (Don't have link, but trust me.) <div></div>

<DIV>any good bow's in the 20-29 range? Have an alt that is a 21 brig now and has been using the Rat Hunter's Bow for some time now. Great lil bow that is easy to get at the lower levels. But what is the next set of good bows to progress with?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>the one-eyed bow from ts. was looking at that. are there any other bows in this range worth while? or is this "the one"? lol</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and will prob pick up stormfire in late 20's and keep that for prob till I am 40 and need a new one to take me to 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but there is a rare drop in zek I got with my 35 monk, was tons better then the stormfire and had a proc on it also. forgot name since it was a few weeks ago. see if I can find it again....(it also sold for 2pp and can sell as high as 4pp)</DIV>
Sureshot and Bloodlet are possible quest rewards (your choice of NPC) from a quest in Zek, that starts near the Greenhoods area with the Glademaster (if memory serves)The Pinewhisper is the result of a long quest which starts from a drop in Enchanted Lands called "Corian Pinewhispers Notes"Stormfire, which has been already pointed out, is the result of a quest in Stormhold.Good thinking on the pristine cedar bow! Certainly one to add to the list.

<DIV>Longbow of the Warmaster is what the one I was thinking of. lvls 30-40. has proc and decent stats. agi isn't as high as stormfire, but I think that the proc and the hugh damage increase makes up for it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/LongbowoftheWarmaster.php" target=_blank>http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/LongbowoftheWarmaster.php</A></DIV>

I had a pristine imbued cedar long bow made, and it has the same procs as my pristine imbued ebon shortswords. 3 weapons at 5% chance to do 152-282 is a nice addition to dps <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Valian Bow comes from either the Drakota Leuitenants, The Spirit of Vox (crypt of vox), or Darathar. Pristine Conditioned Yew Longbow requires Yew Glaze, which drops randomly off 50+ gx4 mobs, mostly contested spawns. Also requires "Secrets of the Woodworker Vol 40" from the Behemoth in the Zek instance. Another bow worth mentioning is the "Jungle Bow", which comes from Spirits of the Lost. There's also a Lifetap bow that comes out of a master chest off the Spirit Sucker in nek2. These 4 are currently pretty much the top bows in the game. <div></div>

as a low level brigand I was wondering if you high levels use bows a lot? RIght now I will bust out my bow if im feeling saucy or am in a pinch. But unfortunatly arrows can be really expensive (2s for those arrows that cause slashing damage), so i hardley ever bow P.S. - Spirit sucker is sooo sweet

Yeah man, I use bows on the regular at 50 in the raid scene. I'd say I go through an average of 2-3 stacks of arrows a day, depending on which mobs we're raiding.. Also, I've realized that since even with mana regen items, and stacked crack, I go OOP very fast as a Brig, and backing off and using a good Bow seems to be a good way to keep the dps up while I regen power. Getting a good bow at t5 is a great investment, even though brigands only have one line of bow specials, and the t5 one doesn't hit epic targets (which I think is a bug with the skill that the stun not affecting epics causes the whole skill to not work). <div></div>

What kind of arrows do you guys use? Do you have a preference from one kind of arrow to another?

<P>I use my bow on raids aswell, a great tool for not letting some adds to reach the mt, but while soloing It's the ultimate puller too, blunted arrows get my shield's damage proc go off about 90% of the time, not to mention gleaming strike and poisons aswell,</P> <P>when it comes to ranged fighting epics, maddening shot does the proccing too, and the taunt wont get me agro while I'm not meleeing too much</P> <P>as for arrows, if you only want to do ca- shooting, tin arrows will do, but if you want to do ranged auto attack, and maximize the damage you better stack up fulginate/indium arrows and player made fulginate rounded ones for pierce immunes, the rich ones can buy ebons too, did not have a chance to test them yet, only time I have seen some on broker they were selling for 27s/piece, and I did not have cash to waste (still dont have hehe)</P>

I use fulginate vendor arrows when I'm being cheap. Otherwise I use the ebon player crafted arrows. Also, more often than not I need to use the slashing or blunt arrows, which there are vendor version of and player crafted version. Higher tier material arrows do more auto attack dmg, and since most of our dps from ranged is auto attack, it's pretty essential for us to get the nice ones, on the flip side, we dont go through as many as the predators, so we can afford the nicer ones. <div></div>
