Usually unless I'm the only dps in the group, I never really get close to using all my power on a single pull (even with 2 or 3 mobs). After a couple of heavy pulls, I need a break but by that time so does the rest of the group. I use the best drink possible and have all adept I or higher skills. My power (@ level 30 is 1342) seems to be a bit higher than most Brigs at my level or a little bit higher even. Might need to get some gear with higher power adders? As far as poisons go, I'm using Irrepressable Vexation and Noxious Regression atm.

<DIV>I noticed a problem with this in my mid 30's, I think it is just the amount of new attacks you receive and possible need to upgrade at that level. In my upper 40's though it isn't as big of a problem anymore. I would say get some upgrades, pgt is a must, and hopefully it will fade away as you level.</DIV>

With full buffs, maybe.</P> <P> </P> <P>Edit- to the OP, just stop spamming your styles, ive talked to several scouts who still are useing very low combat arts in their mid to uppper 30's. Chances are, if the art is grey or green to you, dont use it. youre probably better off just letting autoattack make some damage.</P><p>Message Edited by jhessal69 on <span class=date_text>03-13-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:06 PM</span>

<DIV>Thanks for the info. </DIV> <DIV>Problem isnt gear or lacking spell upgrades. Have feysteel bp and feyiron for rest of my suit and I always get at least app4 for useful spells.</DIV> <DIV>Must be a mid 30's power crisis as mentioned.</DIV> <DIV>So I guess Ill stop spamming my specials if I dont have a chanter around.</DIV>

Definitely sit down and inspect all your skills and figure out rough estimates for efficiency. (Usually the backstabs/flank attacks.) Most fights, I use 1-2 bubbles of power, and if I'm in a good group, I'm drinking the best possible drink for that level.Make sure you're using good poison... it saves a ton of power to just let that proc.In the mid-20s, I find that I simply cannot use up my power bar. That has finally started to change at 28-30, when we get all the new attacks (and I have adept1 for most). When I start running low on power, I concentrate on HOs and just using my 2 backstab/flank attacks.

<DIV>At lvl 33 this is how my main hotbar is laid out...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1. Disarming thrust</DIV> <DIV>2. HO macro(luckybreak, knockaround, disarming thrust)</DIV> <DIV>3. Ruse</DIV> <DIV>- is sprint and = is yell for help. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>These are the attacks i use in 90% of the xp fights that im a part of. Ive got another hotbar off to the side with rake, blackjack and the creature master attacks on them in case i need those.  Cycling through my main hotbar, almost constantly styling, i only run low on power if its a really really long fight with a named, or were fighting a ^^ and get another ^^ add. This is with lvl appropriate crafted drink. </DIV>

Yep, four hotbars here, too. The PGT certainly helps, as does the Manastone, in a pinch. Enchanters casting Breeze doesn't hurt either. The only thing I can recommend is to balance chaining your CA's for maximum DPS with auto-attacking enough to preserve power. I must admit, 30-35 was a painful time in this respect, for me as well.Ending one fight with no power isn't always the greatest when the next fight starts before your drink can restore you to full power. I'm sure many DPS fanatics would argue against this idea, but being in a group where you can chain pull (because everyone is judiciously managing their personal power pools) makes everyone happy in the end. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

<DIV>Ive actually got 3 hotbarbanks open, its just that the main one i use is set up with all my attacks on it. The other 2 have all my HO flippers, evac, pathfinding, etc...other stuff like that on them. </DIV>

I use 5 hot-bars... and I'm starting to wish for a 6th. Especially now that mentoring is in and you'll end up with a lot of older spells that you keep around for when you mentor down a few levels.I don't have mine laid out really neatly other then all of my coin-flippers close together, my HO advancers in roughly the same spot. Flank attacks grouped with other flank attacks. Back-only attacks below the flank attacks, especially if they share a timer. Stuns/Interrupts in roughly the same general location.Evac is way down in the corner where I can't hit it by accident.

<DIV>4 hotbars too</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>grin and bare it until you get a PGT, and never let it leave your off hand unless you have a chanter in the group.</DIV>

<DIV>Same here again. 4 Hotbars and PGT in offhand.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as mentoring goes, I just create another hotbar slot by clicking the arrow down to a blank one and set up one for an area I figure to be using often for people I plan on mentoring. I can adjust that one to the group when it's complete. That way I can switch betwen bars but either way, I really don't like to mentor. lol</DIV><p>Message Edited by Kegofbud on <span class=date_text>03-16-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:15 AM</span>
