As stated I'm a lvl 35 Brigand and I've managed to aquire a feysteel cluster and a cloth swatch (t4 rare cloth), but I'm not sure what to do with them. I was wondering if anyone here might possilbly know what type of forged chainmail peice/feysteel weapon would give me the most agi or the most str? Also would anyone here happen to know if the crafted cloth scarf or sash has better agi/str than the dropped cloth scarf/sash? I already tried asking the tradeskill forums but it seems they don't really look at the stats that much and I thought maybe someone here has purchased rare armor/weapons b4 for there brigand?

-Thanks

With that said, my next feysteel armor will be forged faysteel chain gloves. As for the cloth scarf i can't tell wether it's better but what else are you gonna do with a rare resource that produces light/very light armor (besides selling it on the broker)?

My first feysteel cluster went into a pristine feysteel chain chestpiece and i don't regret it.

Edit: A small correction; My first feysteel cluster went into a pristine feysteel leafblade spear. It's slow but it packs a punch. Wether or not to go with fast low-damage weapons or slow hard-hitting ones is for another day and thread :smileywink:

Message Edited by Andai on 03-03-2005 10:53 PM

Kind of up to you. Personally, at 35 I'd be considering selling the Feysteel to use toward my gear at level 40. I'd be making that judgement based on the idea that I'd be turning level 40 in the next 2-3 weeks and that the Feysteel peice I aquired might not last as long as I'd like. That's just me though and I upgrade my equipment peices every time I see one better then what I'm wearing. At 39 you'll start to see pieces for sale that better your 30s armor though the Feysteel may stand up longer. I guess you should see what piece you're considering to make Feysteel out of and check the stats against lev39/40 gear and make your decision?

If you haven't already secured a piece of severed fir for the PGT quest you might consider trying to trade your rares for one. On Lucan DLere the prices for fir are pretty steep with 25g being about the lowest and 50g common.

A lot of the rare t4 harvests are needed for Heritage Quests... so you may want to check. (I forget if the piece of cloth is needed, I know the Ruby, Fir, and rare pelt are.)

Whenever you loot a rare forage material there are two things worth doing. Check to see if it's needed in a heritage and furniture. If you make it into a weapon or armour you'll get a few levels use from it and then have to sell it to an NPC vendor. If you make it into furniture you have a large status reduction that will be with you for as long as your playing the game and have housing. It's a case of getting value for money
