I was browsing the market this morning whnen I saw an Adept I for Hamstring. This is the first one I've seen. I examined it and discovered that I could actually use it, though I do not have the Hamstring ability yet in my skill book. I forget now, but I think the 'Required Skill' was 180? I'm currently at 190. What gives? Is this a known bug? Shouldn't I have the Apprentice I version, at least?- Hajj

<DIV>On successful hit it slows the mob. Basically it just does direct damage from flanks and attempts to slow the mob. I got the Adept 1 free on a drop and scribed it since it let me. It's supposed to be a Swashbuckler ability only I think. Probably an oversight that we can scribe. I do tend to use it from behind when most of my other abilities are refreshing during long fights. The added effect beyond the damage seems pretty worthless. It's okay if you want to add in another DD.</DIV>

IIRC, Hamstring is listed as a Skullduggery skill, so any rogue can scribe it. I'm not sure why we don't get it automatically-it seems like it duplicates another skill anyway. There's a high level upgrade to it that I have only because an adept dropped, and I don't even have the skill on my hotbar. :/

<DIV>It doesn't grey out anything else on the timer if that's what you mean. It does good damage so it doesn't hurt to scribe it if you can get one for a good price.</DIV>
