Cuss and Beg for mercy.

You can use it just like a fighter does to pull.Just have to be in range.Also to get maxium aggro, cuss the target. Then buff yourself. Also giving it a nice hidden shiv before you start this. Most of the time you can draw aggro from your healer by that.

Also, you can use Gouge with is a Frontal Attack with Hate in conjunction with Cuss. To be honest, it will take you a while to cycle through your Hate Specials to gain aggro sometimes. If you are going to be in a position that will require you to tank, you might want to upgrade these specials to the best you can afford.As for Footwork, you basically parry if you are level higher. In my experience, it seems that SOE always rounds down with their numbers, so if you have 2.5, it will be 2.0

Or some people could solo group mobs because of it.

i have hidden shiv master 1. was in a grp. some owlbears starting to attack the healer. i fired one hidden shiv, run infront of the healer used cuss and the other taunt. when i try cuss i got invalid target. realy have no ide what i do wrong..

Were you auto-assisting someome?If that person did not have a target, I might get that message you mentioned.

one other ting. my ho is grey atm. is it any point to buy adept 1? just asking since the HO on my fury is still white for me at lvl 27.

I have an adept3 of fancy footwork. In fighting solo's higher than me, it appears to help quite a bit. If I would normally be at half health, I appear to be at closer to 80% or so. I may be wrong, or just odd random number rolls, but it does seem to help a lot.

I got cuss in adept 1 form. Works pretty well, generates 337 hate on the target. Speaking with an SK friend of mine, he has several hate generators all in adept 1 form for 230-380. So cuss adept 1 is pretty strong, we just don't have many of them. Which is fine for me, because I don't want that mob THAT darned much.I upgraded my Beg for Mercy to app4, and it's broken, been broken for weeks and weeks. Sent in multiple bugs about it. I'm out a de-agro spell, and have to rely on my sucky evade app1 (afraid to upgrade it, because it might break too!).

<DIV>i have some thoughts on that "no eligible target" message.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>yesterday i was grouped with another brigand a few levels higher than me, and i would get that message sometimes when i would attempt to use hidden shiv, or knockaround, etc. this is because his were already affecting the target. seems to me that it should have said "would not take effect", as my wizards spells will when theyre being overridden by a higher level skill, but its giving the "no eligible target" instead. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so maybe whats happening is someone else, fighter most likely, has a stronger/higher level hate generator on it already, im not sure whether fighters have hate-over-times as i play brigand and sometimes wizard, but thats the best theory i have.</DIV>
