Question on skills like Rough Skin

<DIV>Any reason to Adept these spells??  I have seen no increase in duration or stats when upgrading spell that are self buffs along these lines....am I missing something?</DIV>

<DIV>I bought Adept I for Rough Skin and I didn't see a huge difference in stats, but there was one. Besides, it's cool to have all adepts.</DIV>
