Has anyone else noticed that your ruse does not show up on your stats online? I did 697 dmg with ruse once and it shows my highest hit at only 186?? Is this a bug? Are they going to change this so ruse shows?

They actually went out of there way to give us a attack that does not work like any other attack. It is anything but lazy. Plus having the creatue get hit from pain and suffering fits the attack. You trick the target into attacking you and suprise it AS it attacks you. Thus pain and suffering.Then on another note if it where to count as our damage we would have had it nerfed along time ago. Because the amount of damage it does on such a low re-use timmer compaired to assassins timmers.

Its working as it should and im thankful it doesnt count as our damage, thus not giving us the generated aggro from using it. A ruse is defined as trickery anyway, so technically its tricking the mob to hit themselves. And yes as mentioned, if it did show up as our damage, assassins would have petitions ready to nerf us. Doing so much damage without a stealth requirement, on a short timer.

Like you have to select the monster, use ruse, and only when you get up or do an additional attack it hits the monster. If you click on a team member (like a tank for assisting) or you don't have the specific monster targeted ruse dosen't work. You can also use ruse, sit and immediately start fighting again, which I'm pretty sure is a bug since it takes about 3 seconds for you to get back up, and with /sit then attack you can get back into the action immediately. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'd like to have it attached to the player myself. Like "Dubreken hits the monster with a suprise attack for 534 damage!" Also if ruse is used to kill the final monster in a group, or a single ^^ monster, no loot or xp is given for the encounter. Sucks if you're trying to kill a timed monster and you gotta wait another hour or more for the SOB to pop. </DIV>

Never said anything about any class being nerfed before in this game or of that sort.The point about not being able to get bonues xp or loot is where your brain comes in play. Don't use ruse to finish a monster off, but instead to start a fight and take it down quicker.

Ok ruse work's so lets not go asking the dev's to go changing it k!Last thing we need is for something to go wrong with a very nice combat art!

<DIV>Ruse will get nerfed if Assassins start catching on to the damage we can do every minute. It's a great skill and one that plenty of Brigands heavily depend on for nice damage. I do think that you should not be able to sit to get up though, that's an imbalance, and even though it benefits me it's not fair. That way it has a long delay to get back up, the mob will not drop a chest if it was going to, and it won't show up on the damage records. That's enough downsides to make a very powerful ability like Ruse on our class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Swashbucklers should get a skill like this =X</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On a side-note, why does everyone always talk about how Assassins are all about a few big hits and then long recasts? I looked at their skills and most of them seem to be 9 to 60 seconds recast.  Like ours...</DIV>
