They reach their max AC values at level 30 and con orange to a level 20. They also (at a glance) arent all that different than Cold Link armor and the only difference in appearance is that the Cold Link armor has a slightly bluish tint to it. Of course the stats are likely very different since I believe that the cold link armor is designed for the scout classes rather than the Pristine Carbonite that has stats balanced for both chain wearing casters and chain wearing scouts. Thats just a guess. In all honesty, if you took a group and tried to equip everyone in AQ armor without relying on Player made armors inbetween I'm not sure it would be possible. (ok it would be possible, but very very hard with the tanks low AC value). I might still go around trying the AQ quests but just as a hobby, not as a neccesity.~Daran

<DIV>The AQ stuff is slightly better, especially the tunic and legs. The carbonite bracer could actually be a bit better and the helm isn't a bad choice if you can't find a Steel Forged one (at least lookign at the chain side). All in all, you'll not take a huge hit by skipping the AQ but being an Armorer I wish carbonite stacked up a little better for my sake. </DIV>

Fallen Gate is pure evil if you do not have a decent group. I would always leave that zone with debt that was 10%+, but I did find the quests fun besides the fact I died a lot in the process. I found Edgewater ( AQ 4 ) to be a fun zone, and the rats dropped chests left and right. Quite a few people in my group got some decent upgrades. AQ 5 is not that bad - just painful to find some groups to help you. A lot of the mobs were con'ing green to me at 24 ( crabs, bears ). I just started AQ 6 now.

<DIV>Korelen is right, lol. I found AQ2 in FG and AQ4 in Edgewater both Death traps. They should start calling them Experience Debt Generators (EDG)  instead of AQs. While the drops in Edgewater seemed pletiful, a bad group there killing the ratongas and you will end up with more red on your XP bar then yellow and blue.</DIV>
