What Race is good to make a brigand?

<DIV>I've decided to start a brigand, just not sure which race to choose. Right now i'm thinking about Barbarian or half elf (but not limited to them) , I'm leaning more towards Barbarian, bc there is way too many halfelf rogues running around. What are the advantages for the other races?</DIV>

<DIV>Go with the barb, it would be awsome having some giant barb stealthing around killing stuff.  Besides, race only matters for the first couple of levels, after you start to get nice stats on gear the base stats only have a minimal effect.  </DIV>
