I understand where you are comming from, and your evidence proves that we have skills saying we should use a blunt weapon. But some how, i'm not sure, I don't agree we should have those weapons. I'm not sure why, tho. Possibly because other classes already use them, and can't use others. So it seems like we are spoiled and say, "That looks cool! Gimme, gimme, gimme!" Not saying you are doing this. Just don't feel right asking for another weapon. We have whips, daggers, spears and other stuff. Including bows and arrows. My 2 cents.

My view is that we use the butt end of our weapons to perform these bludgeon attacks.

<DIV>I always figured I carried my blackjack aka Mr. Beanbag, on my belt, whip it out and *whap* you been beaned.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My only gripe has to do with the ruse animation, I'd love to see us go from like laying on the ground to a ryu like uppercut once we did it!..  That way I could stop explaining to these pickup groups why I keep feigning death when I didn't have aggro...</DIV> <DIV> Yeah... mmmmmm  uppercut...</DIV> <DIV>*drools*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>edit: Well ok maybe not an uppercut but like an eye poke or something...   looks so bland laying there then damage, then you pop up and are fighting.  Afterall it is like a signature move.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Clawblade on <span class=date_text>12-17-2004</span> <span class=time_text>11:45 AM</span>

<DIV>It even says that we can use staffs and clubs in the manual and thats still even in the revised PDF version of the manual.</DIV> <DIV>And the <A href="http://www.everquest2.com" target=_blank>www.everquest2.com</A> says we can use "Axe, Sword, Flail, Hammer, Mace, Spear, Dagger and more"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Still we cant..kinda wierd</DIV>

<DIV>It's ridiculous! Why have club/cosh/blackjack themed special moves and then not allow the rogue to use blunt weapons.Whoever heard of someone bludgeoning with a dagger? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Having said that, the snakes have been kicking people in EQlive for the last six years, so maybe this isn't quite as odd after all...:smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Something that needs rectifying asap please.</DIV>

<DIV>yea I remember snakes kicking and a few other oddities of physics in eqlive, still if an updated manual pdf is saying this all the more reason lol</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I mean at the least some clarification from a GM or something would be appreciated.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>And further more I've been wondering this.  So we have several blunt named attacks, but even more so we have a bejebuz load of stuns.  Now I know this is a game, I know it defies reality, I know it defies physics, but I've taken knife fighting and other weapons forms for 17 years.  How do you you "stun" by slashing or piercing?  I mean sure you could send them into shock or ummm errr death.  But we get like slash or pierce attacks that stun,  I think stun, I think I was just hit over the head with a baseball bat, not stabbed repeatedly in the lung.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now on the flip side I'm all for class individuality, certain ones having access to certain things others don't.  But for the love of all things holy, half the things that make us brigands currently are oxymorons.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If anything I'd argue brigands shouldn't get pierce, and should be DW slash/blunt, but then I'd just be getting every rogue in high hell [Removed for Content] at me lol.</DIV>

<DIV>We can dual wield. Having a piercer and a blunt weapon equipped makes sense. What doesn't make sense is us not being able to use ANY blunt weapons. Okay, fair enough, I can't see a scout using a massive 2-handed great hammer, but a cosh (or black-jack as I think they're called in the U.S of A), or a one handed mace perhaps. Whats so hard to believe about that?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
