Weapons quest

<DIV>I bought 2 Dragoon Daggers from the broker. They are expensive and if you don't want to pay for them, they drop in Nektulos off Elite Guards I think? Great stats and I expect to be using them until 28-30 area. What did you pay for them, if you don't mind my asking? I just turned 20 and will be using my Brigand sword for slashing and will need to upgrade my Badlands stilletto soon. I still believe in always equipping a pierce and a slash to level both skills.

I also had issues across the 20's with weapons .. hers some tipsDragoon daggers are good plentiful, and usually cheap enough for 20..Kouryick at East Freeport Tavern gives an awesome quest that results in the Nerius Pirate whip.. get a friend to do it also so you can get 2.. perfect low 20's weap.high 20's as the whips begin to yellow and white out, Try to score some Steel Daggers from the giants in TS, nice stats, and best for the level till 29. I couldnt find any for sale, but it seems every other dual'er was using them, I never did many giants in TS tho.I used Carbonite Sai's (lvl 30) from vendor unless i needed magic weaps to hit, then i pulled out the old pirate whips.Do the EL access quest as often as possible, to get Fay steel weapons, which you can equip at 29. You will find at 29 you can equip both lvl 34 and 35 weapons, tho at 28 you cant equip either...anyway, i feel this is good advice, which will keep you in orange or yellow weapons through your 20's

anything named or boss-ish in Zek or EL can't be hit by normal weapons.Your specials/combat arts will still land, but regular swings will be all misses

<DIV>its for lower zones aswell, wisps in commons ie(++ ~14), and its not misses, but even for an outsider REAL annoying "IMMUNE!" spam, so please stop using pristine crafted ones unless theyre crafted of rares, those are real nice by the way too, and not to expensive you have a higher lvl main :p</DIV>

<DIV>I highly recommend getting some Steel Rapiers. Almost every 24+ DPS in our guild has a pair of them.  You can get them either off the named in the Bloodskull Valley group zone, or off of the skellies around Varsoon's in TS. </DIV>

<DIV>Funny thing is that is you kill the nerius pirate captain for the Kouryick quest to get that whip, you may as well kill the captains a few more times until the nerius captain's whip drops and get that as it is much better.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At least, I think that is what I got it off of. May have been that irritating iksar spawn guy for some quest that is also at the beach -- the guy won't shut up the whole fight, and I have even heard him continue to say the stuff while dead on the ground as well.</DIV>

<DIV>Steel weapons are the best in the 20's, and out perform any quest weapon I've seen on the market.  Also Pristine Forged Carbonite is good if you can't afford steel.</DIV>
