nah, it only subtracts from your current hate. If it did steal hate from the tank I'm sure someone would have noticed a long long time ago.

I've actually had some decent success with the following tactic.Hate Transfer on tankInvis for positioningTaunt Mob and immediately EvadeMob runs to tank. Effetely allowing a ranged body pull

Using taunt creates certain % more aggro, dependin on our skill

as master on t7 is 27%

If u use ur detaunts it does not steal aggro at all. only the % from damage u do

transfers to your tank or who ever ur putting it

u all swashies should try (on mid fight...ranger in ur group.. put on PF/EG/INSP and hit Arrgo on ranger...they dont know what hit em...) *grin*

game has to be fair.. when ranger is dead it's fair..

I don't think the tank gets more aggro, but the swashy will and you are basically putting the swashy at a hate level that he would be at if he didn't transfer. Best place to put your transfer is on a healer. As long as the healer isn't pre-healing with reactives and ward he will never be at risk of getting aggro. When with an assassin or a paladin I transfer to the healer.

hahahaha, yeah. I had a wizard who wouldn't phoenixblade me a few weeks ago so he got my transfer and was soon paying a 100% armor damage bill.
