swash or brig?

Brigands have more mit and are bit more defensive.  Swashbucklers do more damage and are a bit more offensive.  That said on single targets a well played brigand in an ideal group will keep up with a swashbuckler.In groups brigands get debilitate meaning the mobs die faster.  Swashbucklers have transfer to help the tank hold aggro and abilities that make the tank take less damage from the mob.In raids it is the same as a group. A good raid force is going to want one of each class.  The brigand is probably more mission critical because of how much debilitate helps the raid as a whole for DPS.  A raid with one of each would welcome either a second brigand or swashbuckler as additional DPS.Basically, it is up to you.  Both classes are at a good point right now.  Brigands can worship Zek, meaning superior miracles and blessings.<div></div>

Swashies at lvl 70 with full masters and the right AA's will debuff about 1600 physical mitigation. Enough to make a nice diffrence for the other melee classes, but only about a third of what brigands debuff.More importantly though, brigands signifigantly debuff resists which mages actually use, while swashies can only debuff resists that are never used.Brigands are definately most useful to a raid.In a group, it depends on what other classes are there. It could easily go either way.As for the most dps, that largely comes down to gear and skill, but I like to think swashies have a bit of an edge in this area at least ;^)<div></div>

I think that more people, at least on my server, should play Brigands, so there will be less competition for Swashy masters.
