I'm always in the MT group for raids but I am perversely happy when our templar isn't around and we get an inquisitor in the MT group. The makeup you mentioned would be pretty nice though .Drevva

dirge, coercer, bruiser, monk, some healer

dirge COB plus all the dps and haste buffs from the coercer bruiser and monks would be ridiculous.

Me, an inquisitor, a coercer and 3 dirges Hit autoattack, switch to rhotp, let the dirges take turns with CoB keping it up 100%, and every few mins hit inspiration......luxury!

Personally, I like having a Bezerker, Inquistor, Mystic, Dirge, Conjouror, and me (swash, duh)

Bezerker gives the awesome str buff, same with inquis. Dirge just good overall buffs and [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], conj with shards and dps, and mystic with nice wards and some nice hp and str buffs

Dirge is the only definate...illusionists are great too if they have illusory arm. The rest....too many interchangable things to go into for me. I'm too lazy.

The best group-RAID lineup is Guardian (MT), Swash (me), Inq, Fury, Defiler, coercer. For named encounters you might trade out the coercer for a conjuror, or (heaven forbid) the swash for an assassin (ranged or single target encounters). But for grouping (and I know it wasn't asked) that is another story.Personally I would drop the coercer/illusionist for a paladin. Grouping, Mezzers and Swashes go together like oil and water; ussually they want to mez to much for my taste and it forces me to drop Hurricane. I also enjoy the chaos of having to take on multiple mobs at once. Besides, with a Zerker you don't need the coercers hate transfer (after all you have your own). Paladins have an excellent mit buff, can heal very well in a pinch, can tank when the MT goes down, and if they are spec'd strength haste/aggro (surprisingly most pals in my guild are not) can generate alot of aggro. The chief downside to a paladin grouped with a swash is that they cannot use their group aggro transfer spell (it is atm buggy and messes up swarthy distraction). Alternatively, I would want a brigand in the group for their debuffs. It actually depends on where you are fighting. In CMM, I would prefer a guardian to a zerker; with a smart guardian and competant healer(s) you do not need mez. Anywhere that I am fighting where alll the mobs are blue or white, I would prefer a Zerker. If they are all green/blue, forget the tank, you can tank! If it is an encounter where mobs must be mezed, I would suck it up and like a chanter. With all that said, there really is not a best group raid line up. Different encounters call for different tactics.

If I had my way, I would choose the MT group every single raid: Guardian, Warden, Templar, Defiler, Coercer and me. In this group I have parsed upwards of 2900, and my average is around 2k.

Since my guild prefers a dirge in the 6th slot over me, my next best group makeup would be: Fury, Zerker, Coercer/Illusionist, Conjuror, Wizard, and me. This is all assuming another dirge is not available, if one is, I would replace the Conjuror with them.

Message Edited by Orienne on 01-17-2007 01:35 PM

I would like the wiz instead of a conj wiz str/int buff, only mage with str buff and also pheonix blade rocks, other than that ill, bruiser, inq, and zerker.

Fury: Agitate and Vim are awesome.Dirge: DKTM, CoB and awesome buffs.Zerker: STR, and haste/dps proc.Wizard: INT, STR, and a great procFor the final spot anything that improves casting time. Inquisitor, Bard for Jester's, Illusionist, etc. That would be a perfect raid group for me.Our assasin runs with:AssassinIllusionistTroubyFuryWizard(this spot varies)It doesnt' get much better for her and her parses show it.
