<P>Are you talking about dueling or open PVP?<BR><BR>If you're talking about dueling, cast inspiration shortly before the duel commenses (when the countdown is on 3 or 2 seconds), evade, and then just spam CA's and it's over.</P> <P> </P> <P>If you're talking about open PVP, be sure to have a method of see invis so it's difficult for them to get the jump. As soon as you're close enough, use an evade, a few combat arts, then stun, a few more combat arts, and use the stealth evade, stealth attack...pretty much rinse, repeat. Inspiration helps but is by no means necessary for an enchanter.</P> <P> </P> <P>Also, if you have the reach AA and they get the jump...they're much less likely to win. Just keep running toward them and mashing CA's. They won't get away.</P> <P> </P> <P>I would additionally recommend buying stun/stifle immunity potions, and some arcane cures, to deal with being locked down.</P>

Its both dueling and wild pvp... I do carry the stun/root potions, but seeing that they can chain mezz/stun. You get one use out of them. Good ideas tho, thank you!-12<div></div>

Enchanters are a pain to duel / fight but thats why sony has resist gear... If you can maintain ur resists then you will have no problems at all beating them. Keep taunting also inbetween CA's this will interupt them giving u a chance to get closer for cheapshot then follow up with Lung Puncture which will make you resist even more...

It also will make you immune for 8 or 10 seconds to those effects, so if they start chaining stuns, they are wasting them. Anytime i get jumped, caster, or melee, its the first thing i hit. Most players open the fights with stuns and stifles, and very few pay attention to the immune effect, they just mash buttons. So for the first 8 seconds of the fight, they are usually doing absolutely nothing, and it gives you the oppurtunity to decide to fight, or evac.

<DIV>Enchanters are not that tough to beat. Always remember to use your inspiration as soon as possible after mez breaks. Another tip that will tip the balance of the battle is that your Berrate (taunt shout) has a mental dispell component (108lvl at master1 for T7). That means in case the enchanter has a nasty pet like Corpse Candle shout at the pet and look at it whack the enchanter<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> If the enchanter doesn't have a pet....berrate him when he casts his convuslions. Try to use berrate as much as possible...not only you dispelling mental buffs from him or short duration buffs...you also interrupt his casting. Also try to mez him in case you don't have time to burn your Inspiration- Perfecr Finesse - En garde timers and let the whacking begin after a good Berrate<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> It works like candy for me at least...of course 3+k mental resists always help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dreadnaught Delolith Bladesinger, Scallywag of Purity</DIV> <DIV>70lvl Swashbuckler, Darathar (PvP)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>P.S always in offenssive stance eh<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>k dude..i play venekor....over 500 city kills so i deal w/ peps jumping me a lot. HERE IS THE DEAL WITH COECERS. Im talking strictly t7 pvp although they have variations of this spell earlier on. Its called auspex, its a 30 sec impairment placed on you, almost always while ur mezzed. What it does, is everytime you attack, u get hit for 600 dmg if its autoattack and 900 if its a CA...this have 5 triggers. What I do, is ALWAYS watch for the buff, and run around like a flaming [Removed for Content] till it drops off then go and pwn em. The recast is like a min or so so u have 30 sec to kill em, AND u have mez immunity for like 30 more secs cause t7 mez is a long [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just watch for that and ur fine. That is all a coecer puts on u that means anything in terms of longterm</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ALSO! Bow's are fine, same with throwing weapons, its strictly MELEE damage</DIV>
