I just made a new Swashbuckler and had a few questions.

1. What is the better AA choices starting out at lvl 10? Should I do the rogue line or dive into the swashbuckler line first?

2. What is generally thought to be the best master 2 choice at lvl 14? lvl 24?

3. Right now I have a couple of corals in the bank what would be the best choice of skills 10-19 to make into Adept 3's?

4.
1. The only swashbuckler AA I'd consider even potentially helpful early on might be the stealth cast time reduction for getting off the ambush attack in-combat a little quicker when the normal in-combat stealth/aggro dump ability is down (has a fairly long recast) The others are mostly about adding a percentage to the damage or debuffs of your existing skills and the amount they do at lower levels is not enough to be worth adding 5% to, for instance, imo. So rogue line all the way, I'd say. Which ones there are up to you and I won't go into that as there's plenty of info here for that already :smileyhappy:

2. I don't recall anymore what's available at 14. Personally, I've gone with the swathe line almost every time it's been offered and been well satisfied. Other worthwhile options would be the stealth/ambush attack or the backstab imo.

3. Gut Slice and Poke would be my top choices. Maybe Circle Blade if you find yourself using your AE's often and perhaps especially if you take the Swathe master II as that makes a very nice combo for taking out groups.

4. I haven't found any better than this forum, myself.

5. It's been so long since I've seen Bill the Cat, thanks for that :smileyvery-happy:

1. I found the "walk the plank" ability from the agi line to be useful, even at rank one (you can spin them and hit them with cheap shot, giving you 4 secs to hit them with back attacks). Currently at lvl 25 on my swashy and i find myself using it a lot, even if its just to spin the mob and hit them with gut slice.

2. Circle Blade is the popular option i think, but viscerate works too.

3. I would recommend poke and viscerate (walk the plank + viscerate is a good combo against mobs that see through invis)

4. None that I know of.

Str line is a safe place to put AAs. I'd suggest 4-4-8-8. Once you have those 24 you can respect into Stamina or Wisdom lines. On the Swashbuckler side I think the first skill on the far right, the one that increases your dps debuff might be nice but I'd go with 24 aas into the rogue line first. The best place for Swashbuckler info outside of game is probably this forum.

At level 10 I would recommend going STR/AGI first, and speccing to STR/WIS once you get to about t5/6ish and have a decent onehander.

2. Viscerate and flamboyant swathe, not taking into account previous CA level.

3. Viscerate, Poke, and the low level two-attack skill...name escapes me atm.

4.
