<DIV>I did some searches and I saw what they did but still not real sure about them. I'm lev 19 now and using hemotoxin, but I hear of mental breach and such. Can some break it down a lil for me or point me in the right direction/</DIV>

<DIV>Which types of poisons you will want to use is a situational thing imo, as you may be going for different results depending on if you are soloing, tanking for a group, raiding (debuffs mainly), or raiding (dps maximized). There are 3 basic poison groups, and you are able to stack 1 from each group and have them all proc. They are broken down into Damage, Debuff, and Special Effects. Here they are:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Damage (RED) - 25% proc rate and 100 charges</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Caustic - Direct Damage</DIV> <DIV>Hemotoxin- DoT</DIV> <DIV>Vitality Breach - Life tap (heals you)</DIV> <DIV>Mental Breach - Power tap (restores some power)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Debuffs (PURPLE) - 15% proc rate and 60 charges</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Enfeebling - debuffs str, crush, ranged, pierce, and slash skills</DIV> <DIV>Cerebral Ebb - debuffs int, disruption, subj, min, and ord skills</DIV> <DIV>Gracelessness - debuffs agi, parry, def, and deflection skills</DIV> <DIV>Warding Ebb - debuffs wis, and mit or all magic dmg (all caster spells and dmg poisons)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Special Effects (BLUE) - 15% proc rate and 60 charges</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Essence of Turgur - attack speed debuff (slows mob)</DIV> <DIV>Fettering Poison - unbreakable snare poison</DIV> <DIV>Ignorant Bliss - hate reducer</DIV> <DIV>Stupefying Poison - very short stun</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Again, you can pick and choose one from each of the 3 groups and have them all stack with each other. You will want to use whichever combination works best for the situation you are in.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since I am a swashy, let's use me for example. Let's say I am at a raid, and I want to minimize my hate. Since power may be an issue because no enchanter is with me, I would use a combination of Ignorant Bliss, Mental Breach, and most likely Warding Ebb so the mobs drop quicker. Now let's say I am tanking for a full group. I would want to go with Essence of Turgur, Enfeebling or Gracelessness, and any combination of the damage poisons. If I am soloing, I generally would go with Essence of Turgur or Stupefying Poison, Enfeebling, and Vitality Breach. These choices are only what I would go with, and the beauty of so many choices is that you can be unique.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Have fun!</DIV>

<P>Also bear in mind that merchant bought poisons are classified as "red" poisons, despite their icon being yellow.</P> <P> </P> <P>also, debuffs = blue, special effects = yellow, btw.</P><p>Message Edited by Cocytus on <span class=date_text>01-02-2007</span> <span class=time_text>12:14 PM</span>
