Cant cast swarthy deception on conj pet?

So I was on my swash duoing with a conj and we were using the tank pet.  I wanted to cast swarthy deception on the pet but I keep getting a 'Can't use on NPC' error message.Is this a bug or am I confused.   I could swear that on my warlock I have cast my aggro transfer on the conjuror pet successfully before.thanks.

It has been at least a year since it was changed to not be castable on conjurer or other pets. Something about dumping agro on the poor little mushroom fluff pets in raid situations or something if I remember right.<div></div>
