I have 1 point in the Sailwind Achievement which reduces cast time and recovery speed by 25%, which should reduce my Sneak's cast time from 2s to 1.5s.  I put 5 points into the EoF Sneak AP further reducing the casting time of Sneak by 1 second making the cast time of my Sneak .5s.  When I examine my Sneak it still shows a cast time of 1 second.  (I have other CAs that show a cast time of 0.40seconds.)  Am I missing something here, or is this bugged? Also, which cast time would be correct.  I came up with 2 different cast times of .5 seconds and .75 seconds.  Would sailwind reduce the cast time of Sneak before or after the EoF's Sneak reduce timer?  If it was before then Sneak should cast at .5 seconds (2.0 x .25 = 1.5 | 1.5 -1 = .5s).  If it is after the EoF Sneak redux timer it is .75 (2.0 -1 = 1 | 1x.25 = .25 | 1-.25 = .45s).  I am not sure which formula is right.  If you guys can give me any insight on this would be appreciated.  I was thinking about submitting a /bug on this because it's irking me. =)  Thanks in advance.BTW I have a 51 Swashy that is a pirate.  =)  Swashies rule!<div></div>

What does it being an ability or not have to do with the timer reduction?  Regardless of what it is classified as, it was still reduced with Sailwind and was decreasing its casting time when points were put into the Sneak Ability under the Style branch on the EoF tree.  The lowest speed it will display is 1s.  But I know that it should be lower than from either formula I used to figure out what the casting time should be.  <div></div>

CAs and spells are limited to 100% haste... so if it starts at 2seconds the minimum it can get to is 1second.<div></div>

<DIV>Any time changes don't work in the way your calculating it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A 25% reduction means you divide the number by 1 + 0.25.. So your 2 second timer for Sneak, reduced by 25% would be 1.6 seconds.. (2 / 1.25 = 1.6). It is quite possible cast timers ARE capped at 100% max, meaning you can at lowest, get 1 second cast time, whether you have it from Sneak AA or Sailwind.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Haste works similarily, so 25% haste = 2 delay / 1 + 0.25 = 1.6 delay.. and 1 delay at 100% haste.</DIV>

<DIV>Actually, CA cast times -are- capped at 100% reduction.  Rangers are kinda peeved about this due to some of their AAs decreasing casting times below half and not getting the full benefit from their AA.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Some of my wizard spells are like this too. . .just the way it is.</DIV>
