Ohayoo.I have a couple of quick questions related to the Swashbuckler Class.a) I'm now lvl 22 (Fae), decked out with lvl 20 armor (partially from armor-quest) and a lvl 20 13.9dps spear, along with a lvl 20 shield. I Have 30% avoidance and 35% migration along with 1200 health. Is that acceptable? My Agi/Str/Sta are pretty much the same, with agility being 10 points higher or so.b) Was it correct of me to choose the + to hp% trait?c) What should I upgrade to Master II when I hit 24?c) When I have finished the staminaline that I'm currently working on, would going str after that be the optimal choice? I'm mainly soloing as it is now, I value my solo and pvp abilities higher than the ones when grouping.Later on I'm probably going to duo much with a friend of mine (Fae Berserker, he's going a 1h + shieldbuild as well), then it seems kind of pointless for me to up my surviveability as much as I am, since he's going to tank anyway. I gotta say that I really like how free I am with chosing weapon (I dont want to limit myself) as it is, but I know that I will have to do that later, undepending on what line I choose later on in the game. I really like the spearanimations, and it bothers me that I won't be able to use it later on without gimping myself. Also my playstyle is mixed defense/offense, I like to play offensively, but having the surviveability and utility to make it worthwhile.<div></div>

a. Better than average, you'll have different people with different schools of thought on sword and board, dual wield, or one-handed (especially once you mix the AA lines in). Sword and board definitely isn't a bad choice, especially the way mobs rock these days. And since it looks like you're in PvP, I think sword and board is actually a pretty strong choice. Even with a tank in PvP you're going to take some hits.b. There's no real right or wrong, and chances are you wouldn't have noticed the difference either way. Generally in the long run people say either +HP or +Power. You'll probably get a respec at some point in your character's life anyway, and if not it's no biggee.c. This is subjective, and probably doesn't have a completely good answer. It also might change depending on whether you're talking PvP or PvE. The AE attack is a strong AE damage dealer, the backstab is nice and the AGI debuff component probably matters more now, shanghai is a strong single-target damage dealer (complemented well by INT2 or the sneak style enhancement), and undercut is typically the one no one takes because it's just peanuts of extra damage in PvE, but it might also be exceptionally useful in PvP.c2. Probably. WIS line isn't a good combination for obvious reasons, INT isn't much good past the second one if that floats your boat. AGI might be worth looking into for in-combat runspeed in PvP, but I'm not much of a PvPer so I can't help you much there. In STR, melee crits are always nice, +defense is always nice, and the special attacks are nice too. Plus, if you like spears, using a spear is still an option. You'll be missing out at most on one extra AA attack that, while nice, isn't going to [Removed for Content] you. The main problem is I don't think there's many nice one-hander spears for swashies... then again, I could be wrong, I never really checked.<div></div>
<div></div>+ HP is always goodwhat are the M2 choicesSTR/STA is a very good combo for damage and survivaland to Sage....He's probably just using the spear cause that was the best weapon avaliable at the time of purchase.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Licit on <span class=date_text>12-16-2006</span> <span class=time_text>12:21 PM</span>
