If not then what?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>#2 Procs: I thought I heard it said, that a weapon with a higher delay either procs more or has a better chance....did i hear this right? And once again if not ....what?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sincerely</DIV> <DIV>Noobsauce</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Read through Rokjin's posts (one is stickied here). Click his name, find all posts by and start reading. He has done a lot of detailed analysis of mechanics that affect swashbucklers.Anyway short answers:1. A 2 second delay will hit once every 2 seconds when you have 0 haste. Haste affects weapon delay.2. A good description of this by Rokjin "A weapon that is twice as fast will proc just as many times in a minute as a weapon that is slow. There will be 'more procs per hit' with the slow weapon, but there will be less hits. It's all normalized so that you get the same amount of procs in a given time period."<div></div>

#2 is also the reason why they change proc read outs to say "procs per minute" instead of a straight %..

Slower weapons with high haste will still proc more times per minute when using combat arts than a fast one with high haste due to lost swings, correct?<div></div>

<div><blockquote><hr>PaganSaint wrote:Slower weapons with high haste will still proc more times per minute when using combat arts than a fast one with high haste due to lost swings, correct?<div></div><hr></blockquote>Semi true. If you straight up auto attacked then no. Thing is that when you queue CAs (or use them in general) you are delaying a faster weapon more. A CA can delay a fast weapon and basically miss a full swing where it may only delay a slow weapon half a swing. This means that the slow weapon will proc more. This is a quick, mathless description. Hope it makes sense.</div>

<DIV>Aye, between sailwind, and Avast Ye with a really nice slow weapon the Wis/Agi line pounds out more dps and procs by far. Maybe not the best build for a brigand, but a swashy that can self haste easily this is an optimal set up for a raiding Swashy</DIV>

Thats what I had thought, that with the higher haste you were "losing" auto attacks with a fast weapon due to casting times. Just wanted to make sure it was STILL working that way with the changes.<div></div>
