<DIV>OK - I am trying EQ2 out again after not playing for 18 months.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I started a Kerran Swahbuckler, and am at level 8 in Nettlevile. Ages ago, you would prove your worth to the guard and they would send you to a trainer who would eventually set you on the path to get your "gear quests". So far things seem a lot less hand held than the original IoR/City introduction quests (Hallmark Quests). Do I have to wonder around Qeynos to find the Swashbucker trainer, or was there some Qeynos introduction Hallmark quests that I missed? or does something happen when I reach a higher level?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyways - thanks for taking the time...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<div></div>the swashy trainer is in Elldar Grove, at the top of the tree, as for wanderering, its good, you get discovery exp for wanderering into the right areasmake sure you speak the the Kerran Trainer on or near the docks in Nettleville, pretty easy quest line and a nice item for lower level as reward, also leads onto the next zones with the quest line.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Licit on <span class=date_text>12-15-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:20 AM</span>

<P>Since I just came to the game about 2 months ago (Refuge from WoW), I can tell you now the game is a totally different game then when you probably last played it. First off, You don't need to "choose" your profession like when it originally came out. When you pick Swashbuckler, Thats what you are. No class quest at 20th to pick the path you would choose. You definately want to talk to the kerra'n that is at the end of the docks . He will start you on a series of quests that get you acclimated to the game. A LOT of quests from the original EQ2 that came out have been removed and the game is a bit more steamlined and "polished" then when it first came out. Leveling has also become much easier compared to the original. My advice would be find a nice guild who are willing to teach and you will learn a lot from them and If you have any other questions, Feel free to sned me a message and I'll be happy to answer.</P> <P> </P> <P>Wired Shut - Luclan - 55 Swashbuckler 51 Weaponsmith</P>
