Need 1 Handed Slash Weapon Suggestions, level 60ish

Could anyone give me a suggestion on a 1 handed slash weapon in the 58 - 63ish level range.  I want something better than the mastercrafted stuff.  I was looking at Blade of Bixies or Scalesplitter for a temporary weapon (i just hit 5<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, but I was curious as to what was better.  I'm not in a huge guild that raids a lot or anything, so i'm looking for something that a single group could aquire, or something that is no more than a few plat on the broker.  Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks a lot.<div></div>

I looked at the bixie blade and didnt like the stats..  but I use the bixie blade on my fury</div>

<P>I'm using Scalesplitter at 65. I have an adornment on it that procs some "Holy Feedback" thing, every now & then -- not as often as Gleaming Strike, & nowhere near as visually, but it helps.</P> <P>I know there are better weapons than Scalesplitter, but it works fine for me so far, & until I can get something better, it will do the job.</P>

Here's a good list:Scalesplitter is a great "base" choice, I still use mine a lot.Blade of the Bixies, higher damage rating than scalesplitter but worse stats.Blade of Embers:  Rare drop from Vaults, probably the best 1hander for "legendary" class swashies that don't raid often.Avenging Cutlass: This drops in Poets palace the Return, might find one for saleDoomrage Blade: Usually on the broker, compareable to scalesplitterValdoons Rapier:  Plenty on the broker, has a fear proc which is great for solo'ing, frustrating grouping (unless you snare a lot)<div></div>

When you hit 67 you may want to see if you can get an Ancient Velium Shortsword. It's a decent 1handed slasher (68.4 dr) from Deathtoll.<div></div>
