39 almost level 40, need tips on armour and weapon.

My swashie is level 39 now and I plan on updating my equipment at 40.  I tend to solo mostly (90%)  and I use 1 handers and don't dual weild.   Are there any quests that I can do for good chain armour and one handed weapons or should i just keep using player crafted?So far it seems taht all of the quests i've come accross are for leather(tons of quests for leather) and a few plate pieces.  Where are all of the chain armour quests?<div></div>

no quests I can think of for armor or weapons in that range, later 40's you can look at prismatic, but would need to raid to complete.Prismatic starts with "To Speak as a Dragon"Dragon language is also needed for some quests in KoS.<div></div>

Feerott has a lot of quest to do but probably won't upgrade your equipment much directly. At 42 you can finish the Journeyman/wear boots so hold off on upgrading boots. EoF may have some 40+ quest but I haven't tackled quest in that range and you should be able to start doing DoF quest in Sinking Sands soon too. Probably the best gear you can get solo will be mastercrafted. If you sell enougth items on the broker you may be able to afford a fabled item or two. There tends to be a bunch in the low 40s because most of the old world raids dropped lvl 40-43 items. <div></div>

Quests in Steamfont give pretty good items from 35 onwards.  I love my little cloak I got at lvl 37 (25% chance on a melee attack to ward me for 200pts, or something like that)

    Ahh i miss beta days of EoF, they gave ya all three cloaks but prolly for testing purposes tho...<div></div>
