<DIV>Hello fellow swashy-types!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So I rolled a fey and having always played a caster, decided to go for something different - Swashy!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so far, lvl 19, Im loving it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>BUT!!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My Alt is a LVl 70 Necro. I dont know anything about armor - I wear robes, thats it. Plus, what are these long pointy things - apparently you hit the bad guys with them? Im used to wiggling fingers and having pets do all my work - so I got me some questions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> -Seems like leather armor gives the most AGI (at my lvl) , but, I like the look of the chain better. For a caster, INT is very important because it increses spell damage and power pool - how importiant is AGI? Should I sacrifice looks for AGI over anything else? Id like to build this little guy more on the DPS side - if that matters.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- I had my guild weaponsmith make me some Steel Imbued Falchions (can't use them untill lvl 22) for dual weild but I noticed a lot of single handed weapons too. I like the idea of dual weild and I like the symetry of two weapons (odd, I know). Is there an agreed upon benifit of dual weild versus single handed, or vice versa?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> - Fighting in groups. Im not used to being in the mix of things,. With my necro, as with all casters, Im at range.  Im finding it a little hard to get into position - and when there are more than one mob - this might sound dumb, but sometimes I cant tell which im supposed to be attacking (for the purposes of being behind them - I have them targeted through assisting the tank) - tips? Am i too close - again, not used to being up close to the mob. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- YOU MUST BE BEHIND YOUR TARGET - I sware, if viscerate yells that at me one more time, I'll scream. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My attack sequence goes: (stealth)  Route, Edged Swipe, Dirty tricks, Cheap shot (swing behind target) Viscerate, Gut slice (target will have turned around now) Quickflurry, Poke, Circle blade (if a viable option) sometimes I'll use Stay low to go back into stealth and then hit route again...etc, etc..etc.  Problem though is that apparently viscerate is damned picky. Is there a better way to get directly behind the mob other than running through or round them or tips on getting exactly where viscerate wants you to be? - perhaps its just practice. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, right now Im getting my wings ripped off because Im using lvl 9 weapons and armor with 46 mitigation..still, only 10% untill 20 and then I can get some real armor - (hope its chain......not leather)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div><font color="#ff0000">There are a couple of stickies as well as a wealth of knowledge in the first few pages here. I will give quick comments, but I recommend reading the boards for more details.</font><blockquote><hr>Treozen wrote:<div>Hello fellow swashy-types!</div> <div> </div> <div>So I rolled a fey and having always played a caster, decided to go for something different - Swashy!!</div> <div> </div> <div>so far, lvl 19, Im loving it. </div> <div> </div> <div>BUT!!!</div> <div> </div> <div> </div> <div>My Alt is a LVl 70 Necro. I use this because highlighting the mob blue with a big arrow over him is a good way when targetting through the tank or MA.</font></div> <div>- YOU MUST BE BEHIND YOUR TARGET - I sware, if viscerate yells that at me one more time, I'll scream.
