<DIV>I have not seen any information on Dietys, let alone which one is going to play a better role for us? Which one did you all pick and why? And if there is a thread somewhere on SOE's forums all about this topic please let me know!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks so much,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>~Gavins~</DIV>

<P>Best DPS God Abilities - Brell. But his cloak kind of sucks.</P> <P>Best God Cloak - Mithaniel Marr. But he doesn't really have any DPS miracles.</P> <P>Other:<BR><BR>Quellious - One of us took Quellious (I forget who now) for the hate gain decrease. I personally think we don't get enough aggro to merit taking Quellious, but I can understand those who do.</P> <P>Tunare - No point in taking Tunare.</P> <P>Ro - No point in taking Ro.</P>

<DIV>Thanks a bunch Cocytus! I had no info on this subject and it seems many in game dont know either. I'm going all out damage, dont care about the cloak so sounds like Brell is my man. So any idea on where the Brell Diety starter quests are?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks Alot,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Gavins</DIV>

Brell starter is in the Irontoe West outpost in Butcherblock, in the thing that looks like it could be a pint-sized church from the outside (without a cross or anything).

<P>You can go through deity lines for their cloaks and then forsake them and pick again.</P> <P> </P> <P>edit - I myself regret not doing Marr first , forsaking, and taking Brell. Too late now, though, already took brell and I'm not losing 25k favor to get a cloak.</P><p>Message Edited by Cocytus on <span class=date_text>12-04-2006</span> <span class=time_text>04:27 PM</span>

<DIV>Oh, I thought the deity cloaks stopped giving benefits if you were no longer a follower?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, if you are interested in versatility rather than DPS Tunare could be fun in other ways.</DIV> <DIV>The AE root/stifle is pretty uber I have to say.</DIV> <DIV>One miracle is a group complete heal over time (10% per tick for 10 ticks)</DIV> <DIV>One blessing is a proc that deos a small group heal when it goes off on melee or spell attacks, 10 minutes duration. I don't know what the proc rate is though.</DIV> <DIV>Anyone can use these, not just Priests.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>A group of scouts all with Tunare abilities (and lifetap poisons) could have some very interesting fights, at least as long as their blessings and miracles held out.</DIV> <DIV>Tunare cloak would be pretty useless though.</DIV>
Tunare's cloak is a boost to heals, will this work on vitality breach and item heal procs?<div></div>

Tunare's first blessing is also a boost to heals, so I will test that out at some point if I can't find the answer elsewhere.I chose Tunare purely for RP purposes, and found her abilities to be suprisingly beneficial.</div>

They add nothing to procs, which have an effective casting time of 0.</P> <P>Must be a thread on one of the Priest forums where they've figured this out...</P>

<P>Found the answer to the normalisation of heal bonuses</P> <P><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=spells&message.id=19632" target=_blank>here</A></P> <P>They are not 'normalised' to cast time like damage bonuses are.</P> <P>Since they seem to be a flat amount per spell - you might have a chance of getting the heal bonus on procs.</P><p>Message Edited by Belizarius on <span class=date_text>12-05-2006</span> <span class=time_text>07:17 PM</span>
