<DIV>I'm currently 4 4 4 4 in both STR & WIS. I've got 3 APs sitting about unassigned, & I don't know what to do with them. At the moment, neither of the top-end STR or WIS skills looks THAT great to me, so I've been thinking of using these points to buff up some of the lower tier abilities in each line ... or, maybe, opening up some of the Swashie tree. Or, am I wrong about the two top-end abilities? Is Coule, for example, REALLY worth 8 points, enough so to make it worth my time to save up 5 more points?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated. I'm not a raider, nor do I PvP, if either of those changes anything. Many thnx, in advance!</DIV>

<DIV>I would say put them in the WIS line to increase your double attack %. If you are looking to increase your DPS and are going with the Fencer line then your AA's should be 4 4 4 8 in both STR and WIS before you decide where to place more points.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P align=left>/agree with Illyakuran</P> <P>I'd put 8 points into the 4th ability of both wis (DoubleAttack) and str (Crits) before gettting into the Swash specific achievements. You have a decent 1-hander, right?</P> <P align=left>/edit: kinda confused, eq2players still showing you on str+agi lines.</P><p>Message Edited by Gokineq2 on <span class=date_text>11-29-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:21 PM</span>

Ever since the upgrade eq2player has been horribly inaccurate. They don't update it daily anymore, Item discoveries are not listed properly etc. <div></div>

I've never put points into AGI.<BR></P>

I just made a Swashie so you guys saying I need to go Str/wis 4448??(on PvP server btw)but doesnt that leave some points left?<div></div>
the points left over will be a personal choice, the 8 points in the 4th abilities will max out double attack (wis line) and melee crits (str line)<div></div>

okay new question then.. I read the AA's and at the Wis.. it says double attack.. but only if secondary slot is empty.. isnt that kinda stupid then?? thats just as good as dual wield, isnt it?? plus you get extra stats.. anyone convince me to take it? cuz I am really not going there <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

There are a ton of thread with extensive math in them. Basically the 1 hand line with maxed double attack will give you 14% increase over dual wielding with equal quality weapons. This is just for auto attack against a single mob. It is actually higher with hurricane damage figured in because you are AoE attacking with a higher DPS weapon since only your main hand weapon is used with hurricane when dual wielding.Basically you have to decide if giving up the offhand slot is worth the free damage from lunge reversal, 4+% increase to parry/riposte chance, and the 14% increase in auto attack damage from all directions. If you stick with dual wield you will get an extra attack from walk the plank and a pretty nice proc that is close damage wise to the Wis line but only works behind/flanking.It's up to you.<div></div>

With all the different AA possibilities I just read what everyone said on the forums about them. D/l'd a parser and then tried them all and compared them for myself. In the end I went 4/4/8/8/1 STA and am now workin in the STR line 4/2 atm.I just like the STA for PvP personally. To each their own.... but Id try all the different specs that are popular. It doesnt cost too much the first few times to recpec your AA.<div></div>
