Good lord, if those are the live stats, that's going to so overpower us its not funny. Double-attack is already an overpowered game mechanic. Assuming these are not subjected to nerfs in the future and assuming other class gear is comparable that implies that a lot of the EoF end game content is ridiculously powered.

Good luck getting an entire set for the double attack chance. I'm guessing it's gonna take quite a bit of work to get them all.

Too bad they didn't tack on +int to all that gear.

Message Edited by Krontak on 11-29-2006 01:53 PM

Anyone else noticed a problem with the 5th armor set bonus on the pvp armor set? Cast emerald lash on target of attack...heals target for 500 hps? That means you actually heal your enemy I hope it is some kind of typo or it actually heals you instead of your enemy.

Dreadnaught Delolith Bladesinger, Scallywag of Purity

70lvl Swashbuckler, Darathar(PvP)

Nice, the PVP set completely dominates the non PVP set, why bother raiding on a PVP server anyway? 1200 tokens can't be that hard to get, can it?Let's not even mention the absurdity of trying to complete a non PVP set as well. First, you better hope you are the only Swash in your guild, and even then the odds of getting a set in this expansion are extremely low. Anyone wanna do the math? Assuming each piece comes from a specific named, which so far it looks like it does, how long will it take on average to build a set of fabled for 1 of each class? Best thing is people are actually arguing for it like it is some type of progress in itemization, I'm glad I don't play this game like I did EQ1.

Message Edited by Keldoth on 11-30-2006 10:01 PM

Huge difference - WoW has 8 classses, EQ2 has 24, each with a unique set. It worked okay in EQ1, and WoW, but with 24 seperate classes, the odds of completing a set are extremely small.

Honestly I am of the opinion that the loot drops should really look at what items people have to figure out which drops. I hate seeing loot go to waste. Also clearing a very tough mob 24 times is a 6 month committment after you figure out how to beat it for the first time. I see no reason why a force that raids 4 zones a week for 6 months shouldn't have everyone equipped. This just for this class specific set stuff. I am okay with the rest being a totally random drop. Since player skill is such a big part of this game loot ends up being more about status than anything else. I don't see the problem with rewarding a full time raider with a full class set after 6 months of raiding.

Message Edited by SmCaudata on 12-03-2006 07:35 PM
