Can you make it to lvl 70 as a Swashy/Zerker duo? My wife doesnt want to be a heal bot so I figure if I had a scout that could DPS and debuff/buff there might not be a need to heal as the mob dies so much faster? Is this a viable duo to take down blue ^^^^ heroics or would be be limited to green or none at all? Thanks!

I've actually done exactly what you were asking, with us each having a few fabled items and all else legendary and 50 aa's. We did poa ok, we could handle 2 encounters 4 lvls below us at a time, or maybe 3 if our 3 minute skills were available..

until lvl 58, the swash will only have one attack to drop enemy dps, and not by much at low lvls, but around 30's I think she would get an emergency mez which is very useful if it is actually needed and it actually works with nobody hitting it. I set my mez to the number 1 on the keyboard so it is always easy to hit if I need it, plus it is close to the ` button to turn off attack. The best thing about zerker being the tank, besides open wounds taking out ae mobs, is your hp regen.. you'll want to get that master every tier you get it if you want to duo without a healer, it is really good. I also know this because I played with the same zerker mentored down to my warden, and I don't really have to heal him much.

fighting mobs 2 lvls below or closer would probly not be worth the effort as that would tear up the tank, and take a while to kill without more dps to back up.. scout dps really grinds down on multiple mobs per encounter, especially 3 one ups, or 2 double ups if you don't have support because your burst dps doesn't finish them off by yourself.

Fighting in sos, more than 4 lvls below us is no problem at all, but xp probly suffers if you have that to consider, but it will depend on what gear you have.. you won't have legendary/fabled while you lvl.

At 58 tho, get lung puncture to adept3, and you will do pretty good on triple ups.

A different thing to consider would be to do the same thing that I did, and play a druid as a healer, because you can still do dps and heal when you need to. I twinked my warden out about when i was 32-34 (I haven't twinked my dps since then, I just wanted to see how well I would do) and I was doing 90 dps stead, or 120+ on big encounters.. more than most dps classes that only had adept1 and not much str/int, but i think a twinked swashy i grouped with at that lvl did like 150 steady and more on groups. What I was using was mastercrafted 2hb, all +12 int cloth gear, and i ran out of money before i got most of my jewelry, and adept3 nukes. If you use 2hb with 2.5 sec dly, warden can hit and cast at the same time and not waste time on either.

Hope that is any help to you
