<DIV>Hello,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <P><SPAN>I'm a returning EQ2 player that took a year and a half long break to try other things because I was frustrated with my characters ability to solo at the time (among other reasons)   My a lot has changed, and so far I like what I see!  My swashie is 31st level and I've been reading a lot about AA's, and discussions about one hand vs. dual wield, weapon speed, etc...  I just bought the KoS expansion so that I can work on my AA's while adventuring and I'm trying to find out what the best style is for DPS.  I solo quite a bit, but do group with some close friends as well, and want to know what's better for my level.  Dual wield, or one hand.  And is it better to go with a weapon in the faster range (1.0 - 1.4) or a slower one?   </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN>There are quite a few discussions about these topics for higher levels, but if I don’t have any AA's yet which would you recommend for my level, and why?  </SPAN></P> <P><SPAN></SPAN> </P> <P><SPAN>Or if someone knows of a good site that has more information about the topics a link would be appreciated.</SPAN></P></DIV> <DIV><BR>Thanks!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>I don't really address low levels in my AA guide post, but in short.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Wisdom line requires a large AA point investment and a good weapon. So stay away from it until you have plenty of AA's and get a good 1hander and are regularly grouping and or raiding.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Genereally for levelling using Dual wields and filling out the Agi line first, or using a one hander + shield and filling out the Stamina line are best. Once you filled out STA or AGI to your liking, go into STR.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>See here for details on what each AA ability does and analysis on it.. etc..  <A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=33&message.id=13568" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=33&message.id=13568</A></DIV>

if and when you accumulate 21 AAs dump them into wisdom line so you can take advantage of double attack.  if you intend to stay dualwield go str/agi for best dps.  Also if you stay dw id advise puttin gthe slower of your 2 weapons in your primary hand.

AegisCrown: <i>"Also if you stay dw id advise puttin gthe slower of your 2 weapons in your primary hand."</i>Why is that?<div></div>
