Avast Ye! - How do I cast it ??

Read the ability description carefully. It is a passive ability, not a buff that works until cancelled. Passive means you have no control over it, it will work constantly. So as long as you are behind the enemy you will have a % chance to proc Pirate Stab.Think of it like a proc on your weapon. It doesn't display a buff in your spell window, but it is still there.
