To craft or buy ... that is the question

I've finally decided on my main. After playing 4 different classes into their twenties, I've decided that the Swashbuckler is the class I like the most. So now I have to decide what to do about crafting. I intend to have a jewler (my paladin alt) so I can get spells and jewelry for my main.The question is this ... Should I pursue Alchemy on my Swashy if his only reason for doing so is to keep himself in supply of posions and potions or should I just buy them off the market?<div></div>

Well if you have an alchemist, then you'll also be able to keep your paladin outfitted in spells, so that's another plus.Can always check the prices/availbility of poisons and potions on your server and see if there's a glut or shortage.  Although I do find something nice about being able to keep myself stocked out in poisons and potions.<div></div>

In the long run it will be much cheaper to by the poisons.

Check your broker board. A lot of servers do have an abundance of Alchemists so the price is pretty low. With the new crafting system the price will probably drop as well.Just remember if you do your own TSing you have to keep your levels about the same. If you enjoy adventuring a lot more than trade skills you may just want to buy what you need. If you really enjoy Trade skills, harvesting etc, Alchemy or Provisioner would save you the most coin.<div></div>

pick alchemist dude.  U can craft the full range of poisons/potions to have at your disposal.  I've got like 2 hotkeys just with poisons/potions which makes things more interesting.  Plus, u can craft your paly adepts like someone mentioned and use the byproducts to make some powerful poisons.
