<DIV>My wife's swashy is level 66, but still using pristine imbued cobalt short sword and dagger dual wield.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, although our guild raids, she doesn't get to make it to very many raids, so chances of a raid drop upgrade are small.  But we do get plenty of groups for instances or quests.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Looks like she's sticking with dual wield, that's just her preference of play style, so no Wis line for her.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, for a swashy that doesn't get much in the way of raid loot, what are some of the recommended dual wield upgrades from the cobalt?</DIV> <DIV>We have access to a level 70 weaponsmith, are the T7 rare crafted weapons worth bothering with?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or are there better drops worth chasing via quests or groups?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>NB we haven't yet completed Peacock line or Claymore line, but both of those quests are likely to get completed (she'll make it to the necessary raids).  Just not in the immediate future.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>thanks</DIV>

<DIV>Weaponsmith's weapons are not much of an upgrade from the pre LU 24 cobalt she is using. There are some cheap legendary drops that will suit. Turadramin's fang is around 2p on the broker on my server, and the Katurah fang is about 1p. Grzzfazzle's dagger is awsome with a 51 DR and poison proc as well. The quest for that is in dreadnever crashsite, and you just have to kill the devourer in Den. Player made weapons have a DR of 42 for DW.....</DIV> <DIV><A href="http://imageshack.us/?x=my6&myref=http://www.imageshack.us/" target=_blank><IMG alt=img119/2765/dw7pq.png src="http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/2765/dw7pq.png"></A></DIV>Blackscale shortsword has a ward proc and a DR of 49. dark talon blade (see another post on this forum) will run you a bit more (like 6 or 7p), but it is very nice.<p>Message Edited by aubreyy on <span class=date_text>06-28-2006</span> <span class=time_text>06:37 PM</span>

<DIV>Tundaramin's fang is a very common drop in blackscale sepultcher, Grizfazzle's Dirk is also a very good weapon that comes from an easy quest, Koturah's fang is weaker than Grizfazzle's so I wouldn't bother with it because grizfazzle's is very easy to get.</DIV>

<P>Cool.  Thanks for the suggestions.</P> <P>We're currently camping Koturah for claymore line (is that the named Drakota mob which drops this?) but we'll definitely do the Grizfazzle quest anyway I think.</P> <P>All she needs then is a decent slashing weapon.</P> <P>We do have the Shin adventure pack too, if there's any decent rogue dual-wield weapons to be found there.</P>

Please help support your local uber raiding guilds by purchasing all of the weapons that drop for them but they can't use.Oh, wait ... scout weapons don't drop enough. I bet you could find a GREAT deal on a 2-hander, though!Sword of the Four Winds (I believe) is another option for a slasher. One of the later Claymore quest rewards, I think (no screeny). Or Blade of the Bixie. Can't remember if that was 1-handed or daul wield, though.<div></div>

<DIV>Blade of the Bixie is a 1 hander Sword, good if your doing the str/wis combo to utilize all the skilz gained by both.  If your going agility and want to use Walk the Plank, pick up a doomrage blade off the market.  There are usually a ton of em for sale for a decent price.  They work well with the Wis/agi line combo so fully utilize agi skills such as walk the plank since doomrage is considered a rapier.  You can get blade of the bixie on some island where bixies are found, doomrage is from a raid so would be a bit tougher to pop yourself.  Like I said though, cheap for purchase.</DIV>

[Removed for Content], you may be right.  Both zones look the same so I forget now to be honest!
