My skills are now mainly master I with remainder adept III. I need to upgrade my equipment!! currently finishing Speak as a dragon so i can do claymore quest. If i wanted to dual wield again the wurmslayer HQ weapon and the dual wielder off the claymore line look a nice combo.Or Stick with 1 hander with the rapier from the claymore line.....For equipment i can get good kit off the claymore quests/class hat/MoA (some pickup raiding involved). Other than these three quest lines and the wurmslayer HQ are there any other good fabled/legendary upgrades for a non-hardcore raider?

Message Edited by Wildfury77 on 06-07-2006 05:29 PM

Message Edited by Wildfury77 on 06-07-2006 05:30 PM

I would assume finishing the Wurmslayer is going to be difficult..You are aware of the full quest line and what you need to kill to get it? I would assume if you are able to finish the Wurmy you are able to do Labs to get nice upgrades to gear.

The claymore line are you speaking of the end weapon the Claymore Cutlass? That takes Deathtoll access if im not mistaken. again if you are able to get DT access you should have some Relic falling your way.

Easiest would try to join a pick up raid to Labs. Get some random drops there and try to go as many times as you can.

But your right majority (all?) of the loot after you leave SOS for claymore is nice stuff!

Message Edited by Sadaen on 06-07-2006 06:36 PM
The Claymore quest line does not require you to get Deathtoll Access, however for the final step you will need to kill Tarinax, a level 75 epic x4 dragon in Deathtoll. Uptil the deathtoll part of the quest line, there are some very nice item rewards for both armor and jewellery slots as well as a ranged weapon (I believe). Towards the end of the quest line, some time is spent in the Ascent of the Awakening x2 area, this can be done with pickup raids. I have my doubts that a pickup raid would be able to complete deathtoll and kill Tarinax, he is a very tough mob and you really need very well equiped and a well meshed raiding unit to take him down. The first really decent reward is a nice chain BP from Riddle of the Vault.Your class hat can be completed just with a single group setup, no raid required.MoA requires a raid for the last step, you might be able to do this as a pickup raid. Once you have the instance zone updates you are required to do 4 trials, the first 2 are grouped, 3rd is solo and much like Harclaves with a mega buff, the forth is a raid zone.Other stuff to look at.Legendary drops off named mobs in open areas and instances are in most cases better than Xegonite armor, the acrylia jewellery is nice for non raiders, has nice stats (23 str/agi/sta), but no resistsLook at getting into Nest of the Great Egg, Blackscale, Vaults, Sanctum and Temple of the Scaleborn also have some nice items.I can't remember the names of alot of the items as I have upgrade most though raiding, but there is alot of good stuff out there, just take a look on the broker and filter for armor/swashy/60-70/legendary and you can have a looksee at most of it, some drops are NO TRADE so can not be searched ont he broker.

Keldth, for neck i'd go for the Mark of Awakening. Its kinda like Gebs. It has this teeny weeny little raid bit in it. The rest is easily done in a single group. And the reward is pretty unbeatable.
Message Edited by MrDizzi on 06-08-2006 02:45 AM

If you are doing Labs of Vyemm which you will need for Wyrmslayer, you will get a chance at Relic and Nemisis gear plus a few good one handers like Frostwrath.
