<DIV>I just turned level 20, and I am having a bit of a dilimma that I am hoping you fine folks can help me with. I am currently using two imbued blackened leaf blades that a real life friend of mine made me as a welcome back to EQ2 gift. They are great weapons, but I am starting to see some fairly decent upgrades on the broker. What I can't decide is this; should I go ahead and upgrade to weapons that average 5 or so better dps but are not imbued, or should i make the switch?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The other thing I am wondering, is, do your current weapons effect the base damage of your combat arts? Since a great deal of my durrent dps is from CA, should i worry so much about my auto attack if I have imbued?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I appreciate the advice, this forum as usual, is always a great help to us lowbies.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV>

<DIV>Well I won't say what you should do and what you shouldn't do, but I can give you my point of view on this and you can make your own judgement.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a swashy, we have a lot of things that are proc based...  Bravo line, poison, our rings, hurricane and more, thing about proc is that, its good to have but don't trust on them.  At 70, I can notice a big difference when all proc goes off vs when only few goes off.  In group situation, this isn't so bad, but when you are soloing, this is really bad.  If you want to solo sufficiently you want to be consistance with everything or close to it.  That being said...  You should make a judgement based on how much do you group and how much dps you would do with weapon with proc vs weapon without proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>In your situation, 5dps is quite a bit and I doubt that even with proc you can match that dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, make sure your +5dps is dual wield weapon...  5dps difference at lvl 20 seems bit too much if you ask me. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
