Ratonga Swashy?

Newbie here. I know you can be a Ratonga Swashy, but how do you go about doing it? Ratonga are evil, swashbucklers are good... I know you can betray Freeport and go to Qeynos, but since you have to select your class in the character creation now, how does this work?

when you betray you reassign your class, just be aware that all your skills will change to app 1, that is, any upgrades you have done, do not transfer across to the equivalent skill.<div></div>

You need to start as the opposite of a swashbuckler, which is the brigand. <div></div>

Anyways, any exp you gain once you turn level 17 will be waiting for you once your questing is done.</P> <P>It is a long quest, but I enjoyed it.</P> <P>Just start off as a brigand and start the quest before turning level 17. Sometime soon/in the future the level cap wont be there.</P></FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Welcome in advance to the wonderous world of bein a ratonga swashie!</DIV> <DIV>As others have said ye the betrayal system is just about to be changed, Id say if ye are lucky it will be live by the time ye are to betray as the present system is not really that good. Back when I made my swashie I was able to betray at level 12 without much issues giving me plenty of time to roam Antonica whilst killing gnolls as punishment for tryin to kill a madman(!!!) whereas now its almost unadoable before 15. </DIV> <DIV>Either way, ye have a fun future ahead, swashies are among the most fun classes there are and ratongas are without any doubt the most adorable race ingame... (I could steal honey from infront of a bear and it wouldnt suspect me :p ) Even on voice emotes it will be a source of entertainment... Whatever you do: Don't spend money on CA upgrades. When LU24 comes out, all your spells will revert to app1 on betrayal.... <div></div>

A wonderful choice of race/class combination if I do say so myself! The others are correct in that you will need to start as a brigand and betray. Good luck! <div></div>
