Here are some of my observations about using Wyrmslayer with wis line. Overall dps goes up when the mob is fully debuffed however due to a significantly lower attack rating, when the mob is not unbuffed there is a larger chance of missing auto attacks and combat arts. This is especialy noticable agains brawler class mobs. They will even deflect Lung Reversal multiple times when I wield Wyrmslayer. <div></div>

Wisdom line won't work with Wurmslayer as of LU24. They are changing it so it not only check for empty off-hand, but that also the weapon is not 2-hand.

/sighWhy can't they make Wurmy turn into a one hand weapon as well? That is what it was in eq1... 1h slash. I know there were no dw weapons in eq1, but still.

Yeah I just read the patch notes. <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I was sort of disapointed that there was no one hander option either. Guess it is back to using Frostwrath and maybe actualy completing claymore one day. <div></div>

Eh, its not that great.  I got wurmslayer about 5 days ago and was expecting a lot more.  It owns vs trash, multiple mobs, but against named you miss so much due to it using crushing skill that it is barely better than a fabled 1h.  It also totally decimates your Inspiration burst.  This really  probably hurts the brigands using it more than us.  Although I will miss it for xp groups and such. <div></div>

Ahh cool.  I don't feel so bad then about not having it yet then.

<DIV>Its because the person who created the quest for it in eq2 had no clue on wurmslayer lore in eq1 ( he posted in some other thread about the wurmslayer making himself look dumb in the process ) </DIV>

He obviously had a clue, considering he included Xyfl, Glyton and Azdalin in the quest.  In EQ1, there was no 1h, it was either 2h or dual wield.  Only '1h' stuff was dw but paladin / sk only and they couldn't dual wield, that was the only reason the item couldn't be dual wielded by anyone else. <div></div>
