<DIV> <DIV>There are two classes that interest me right now: the warden and the swashbuckler.  I was wondering what class would be easier to get pickup groups for leveling purposes.  Thanks for any input.  </DIV></DIV>

Healer types have always found it easier, generally speaking, to find groups.<div></div>

Depends which server you play on. Some servers have shortage of healers, some servers (like mine) have shortage of DPS classes. <div></div>

Generaly there is more demand for healers because there are only 6 healer classes and arguably 8 to 12 dps classes. Depends on whether you count chanters and bards as dps. <div></div>

<P>Healer for raw, off-the-cuff pick-up groups. Then you only need a tank and some dps, as you are one half the team core.</P> <P>On the other hand, if you have a good /friend list, and get a good rep, and level up at a reasonable pace, you can do fine with either, as your reputation will earn you spots in groups as well as the performance of the swashy class.</P>

It really depends. Healers might be necessary and have less subclasses, but all of those are played a lot and it's only really desireable to have a max of two of them in a group. My guild personally has a lot of trouble fielding scouts (especially non-rangers) and we're packed to the brim with healers. Also, bear in mind that you can easily DPS and tank for a reasonable pickup group as a swash, meaning you can essentially fill five out of six slots in the "optimal" group (tank + healer + four DPS).<div></div>

<P>No group wants to go without a healer. That doesn't mean that dps isn't important, obviously it is. But any group that doesn't have a healer is going to take a healer over dps every time. Even if that group had no dps - made up entirely of tanks or something - will first choose a healer. </P> <P>No group really wants to do without dps, but it won't be the first thing a group looks for. Groups first look for tanks and healers I think. Now, the reality is I doubt that you would have much trouble finding groups as a swashy. It's just that if a group had to pick between a healer and a swashy, no doubt in my mind which they would choose. </P>

<DIV>I'd say a Fury.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You can fill the heal spot, but if a group already has enough healers, you can also dps.</DIV> <DIV>Monks and bruiser are good too.  They can fill the tank slot, but also dps.  But groups desperate for tanks are less common than groups desperate for healers .. and if desperate for a tank, you can always use your scout as a light-tank.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Swashies can also tank as well as dps.  But most groups don't know this, so won't recruit you for the tank role.</DIV>

And then kick him.If you wanna get a group real quick roll a Priest, you'll get groups soooo easy.  If you wanna have any soloing capability roll a scout - yea, I know priests can solo, but it takes so long it's just a way to pass the time between groups, which is never long.  If you wanna do a lot of high-end raids at endgame I wouldn't roll a warden, they either go Shammy or Templar. In the end though, it comes down to what you like.  My suggestion is play each one until level 20, switching whenever you get bored or vitality runs out.  When one of those is 25 and the other is 19 you'll know which one to pick.</div>
