<DIV>Hi there,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just looking for some imput to help in deciding where to place my next 4 AA points. Here is a little backgroud detail.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am currently into wis line for 4-4-4-8 and I am very happy with the results so far. I have adapted myself to this sytle of play, and as I mainly group and solo I find I can let AutoAttack do a larger pecentage of the work for me, especially when using our Haste/DPS buffs along with Inspired Daring.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I currently have 1 AA point to spend and I do plan on heading down either STR or INT lines depending on my needs, but I dont want to begin those lines until I have another 5 - 9 AA points up my sleave. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even tho I play a gnome, STR has never really been an issue as I have been lucky with the broker and drops and managed to pick up enough STR items to put me around 80 - 100 STR higher than an equal level 58 human berserker I often group with.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With this in mind, I am looking for the best way to enhance my soloability for a few levels until I have enough points to respec them directly over to level 2 or 3 of the STR or INT lines.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ok that was a little long winded but I wanted to get my needs across in order to save confusion <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So with all that in mind, where should my next 4 points go <U>first</U> ?   Lunge Reversal or Freehand Reversal ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please keep in mind I am mainly concerned with a short term boost to my soloability.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One more question just incase it's not brought up. Is riposte actually a chance to return damage or simply another parry ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Many thanks, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div></div>Resposte causes you to counterattack with an extra swing.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Grim001 on <span class=date_text>05-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>09:03 PM</span>

<DIV>As a constant soloer you should definitely look into Coule as an ability.  (Wisdom 5).  It's a VERY nice one especially for the swashbuckler who is getting aggro a lot (i.e. soloing).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You will see your avoidance go up by around 6-8% and you can go into defensive mode and Coule will basically counterbalance the attack penalty.  I highly recommend it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The only reason to go down the INT line as a soloer is to get Feign Death - there is NO other ability in that line that you want.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Personally I would take Coule and either go for Str 4 (Crit hits) or take the extra abilities of Walk the Plank (Agi 2) and Torporous Strike (Str 2).</DIV>

<P>If your mainly soloing, I'd reccomend going as much into Wisdom as you can. Since you are already taking the associated penatlies, you may as well max out both the Reversals and get Coule. Point for Point, Freehand Reversal gives more avoidance then the Defense from STR, and Lunge Reversal is worth more damage then Torporous Strike.</P> <P>Coule for the reasons stated by the above poster is also very nice.</P>
