Hurricane already sucks balls, now it's going ot be worst. They really need to fix this skill and put it back to 50% or so proc rate. Our deagro procs are going to be hurt in a major way too.

<DIV>The hurricane nerf, apparently, was not intended. They will fix the fact that if 2 or more mobs are within melee range, you'll hit your primary target multiple times. However, I'm not sure they'll be generous enough to give our hurricane triggered poison / inspiration procs back. Only time can tell.</DIV>

<P>Here is the thing for me..</P> <P>Im level 70 and I have fun playing my class..I can solo herocis, grab/drop aggro whenever I want, do whatever..</P> <P>I realize that for some people its most important to see that their parsed logs are showing they are doing 300dps more then a different class but I think to say that swashy's are going down from:</P> <P>1. hurricane: an unintended bug that they already said they were going to fix</P> <P>2. wis: a change that only impacts you if you took that AA and then only slows down what you can do. </P> <P>Neither of which are class breaking or class defining skills imo. </P>

That's why I took the Int/Wis line. Int line allows me less agro which allows me to debuff more with out getting agro/killed, which benefits my guild more than me doing max dps with everything in wis line.FD has come in handy for me and the guild also. The nerf won't effect me a whole lot but, it will still effect me since I was doing the wis line also.

Wis line still owns all the other lines.<div></div>

<DIV>In the end, you take FD and do less damage than any other Swash</DIV> <DIV>or you take STA and decide you wanted to roll a tank and don't want to reroll with your Swash.</DIV> <DIV>or you take Wisdom which is the best choice for damage purposes, even after the LU.</DIV>

We dont have anyway a lot of choice.STA line is a bad joke. Im not a tank, sorry i dont even think about it. I prefer reroll in this case.AGI line nice for Crits. Special Hmmm... i dont know why it could worth 8 points. With heroic u dont need it and with Epic, RL arent a big fan. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />STR line: i tried it the passive proc dont worth 8 points (even more if u count the previous rank point). Special? Humm i didnt tried it but im not sure it worth 8pts neither (again *sigh*).INT line: i think is a must for Brigand, not Swash, im not bad stuffed and i never an aggro prob (or just a bit with paladin). The boot dagger is cool BUT the requierement dont fit with the WIZ line. I didnt saw a good T7 1HD dagger (fabled or even legend).WIZ line: it looks like the only way we can decently put a lot of points. Im even trying the special atm (+17 in off/def skill).<div></div>

Oups my bad.Keep cool, i just invert 2 lines. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Oki you are a big fan of the STA line.I like ur explication (i dont know where is it, maybe its black on black i cant read it).I just think if someone "prefer" to tank and still have some good DPS, Monk/Bruiser/SKs can fit more the new players then Swash+STA.And they are even keeping some very utilities.

<DIV>Some of us who love our swashbucklers sometimes end up playing in unconventional groups/duos. Me, I shift through a lot of play styles on any given day. Solo here, duo there, odd groups here, raids there. I never know. For me, going Str and Stam adds more versatility. Plain dps hasn't been a problem for me with Ad3's and M1's, but the little increases from the strength line are nice. When I'm not raiding, I'm often duoing or doing small guild groups without a tank. In those cases, I'm usually one with the best tankability as it is, and the stamina line enhances that to help me keep the squishies alive when something turns bad.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I love the class and all it brings. It's very versatile. And since I ended up in a place where versatility is a huge asset, I decided to go with AAs that enhance that because it helps me do whatever I have to do in the broadest range of situations. The ability to switch out gear between different groups is a wonderful thing.</DIV>
